Alright im debating wheather to go out a buy a sulfur burner/vaporizer to clear up a powdery mildew problem.

here are my questions, +rep for an answer(s)

1. Does this work well on powdery mildew(will it kill the stuff), is it worth the $120 i will spend?

2. Once the sulfur does its job, will i still have to burn/vaporizer to keep it from coming back?, assuming the conditions are better(below 40%humidity)

3. How many weeks into flowering can i burn/vaporize?

4. Can i put a mother plant(and maybe clones) with a mild case of powdery mildew in the room im going to be sulfur burning/vaporizing for the just 2hr(dark?) period its going to be on for a couple weeks?

thx in advance

yes they work well

you should reburn a week or ten days latter then again with a empty room to make sure there are no more spores hanging around
3. How many weeks into flowering can i burn/vaporize?
I would not recommend burning past 4 weeks on a 8 week flower cycle
4. Can i put a mother plant(and maybe clones) with a mild case of powdery mildew in the room im going to be sulfur burning/vaporizing for the just 2hr(dark?) period its going to be on for a couple weeks?
sure i dont see why not
thx in advance
remember to turnoff exhaust and fans when burning then fully ventalate half hour after burn leaving acouple hours befor lights come back on

I burn sulfur every crop. Your plant can have alot of mold on it and if you burn the sulfur the right way it will get rid off all the mold. I put my plants in a walk in closet when there in the one gallon pots and burn sulfur for a week 3 hours a day. turn your exhaust fan off and after you are done burning wait an hour or 2 then turn your exhaust fan back on . I have burned sulfur in the last week of flowering before and everything was fine. make sure you put a towel under the door of your grow room and make sure if you have a carbon monoxide alarm you disable it cause it will go off and its much louder than a smoke alarm.

also one thing I picked up from roll it up is using milk and water along with the sulfur. I had 3 plants that I neglected in a closet cause I have 5 1,000s running in my main room. the 3 plants had mold all over them bad. I wiped the leaves off 1 time with a soft sponge soaked with milk and water then burned for a week. those 3 plants looked healthy no trace of mold after and it didnt come back

I leave the fans off. I know people that leave them on to push the sulfur around the room I just prefer to smoke the room out tell you cant even see in there barley.
