sub thanks for the info

have the mix on the first page to go the middle of june
have a couple of questions about it
i mixed it three times in the pool and then back into the trash cans and added 3 gallons of water each time also
open the trash cans for rain water
do you use any water for this?
could you use pee? seeing how it sits for awhile
how much water do you give each 7 gallon bucket a time?
how many buckets do you get out of the mix?
how long can you store it for? like if i make a couple of mixes the end of the summer so it gets me through the winter

thanks
steve

Yes I use de clorinated water
could you use pee? seeing how it sits for awhile GROSS!
how much water do you give each 7 gallon bucket a time? 1.5 gallons every 3-4 days
how many buckets do you get out of the mix?
never counted
how long can you store it for? like if i make a couple of mixes the end of the summer so it gets me through the winter

The longer the better if I could I would make a years supply up in mid summer but i can only store 1/2 of that at one time.

could you tell me the exact ingredients again..

you correcting someone earlier in the thread kinda confused me and i want to be right on.

i am going to do 12 total in almost identical set up..

what is the grow area you think i need for this?

as i am going to be using the same pots as you for the obvious reason i don`t want them to run outta fuel..

what pots did you use #10 nursery?

its on the first page dude.

I will just wait until i run outta fox farms for the moment i read the first page but some the measurements kinda confused me the way it was worded but figured it out once i read the revised later on in this thread.

Thanks sub cool for the recipe

I agree. Have ten that have been in SS since April. Not a yellow leaf or burned leaf on a single one. Luscious green throughout. Couldn't be happier.

BTW, followed the recipe on the first page and let compost for two months.

Hey Subcool,

I've been growing on and off for 15 years and you've really opened my eyes. Thanks so much for the info... I've got your first book as well as Dank on the way.

I can't wait to put all this together and forget about all the bottles and the PITA... I've been using FFOF w/LW and feeding with Botanicare Nutes with very good results but not the heights of your royal dankness... but I soon will!

I have everything but the powdered humic acid and I just ordered 1# of that... It should last quite a while for my small grow.

Question: Are you using bone meal with NPK of 1-13-0 and blood meal with NPK of 3-15-0? I also saw a blood meal available with NPK of 12-0-0. I'd imagine that the worm castings take care of the N don't they?

Thanks again.

Onward & Dankward!:bigjoint:

Peace!:peace:

Subcool, I have read through the entire thread and I plan on reading through it again tommorow when I'm not as tired.
I didn't see anybody ask this, but I was wondering if you could post the ingredient list of your potting soil you mix with your super ingredients.
Now I think someone asked if you could use the same ingredient list without changing the amounts, but could you scale it down. If not I will have to get 7 gallon containers. I will appologies if these exact questions have been ask before. I know how the my teachers of the past would get pissed repeating answers they had already given.
Thanks Preacher Subcool.

Sorry but I noticed I posted the NPK's of two different bone meals that are available at the local hydro store. Which would you use? And from what I can tell the blood meal has all N (12-0-0), right?

THANX!

Here's the latest edited recipe on this thread:

8- Large bags of High quality Organic potting soil with a coco and Mycorrhizae ( Biobiz Light works great)
1-25-50 pounds of Organic Worm castings
5# Steamed Bone meal
5# Bloom bat Guano
5# Blood meal
3# Rock Phoshate
¾ cup Epson salts
3/4 cup Sweet Lime ( Hydrated)
½ Cup Azomite ( Trace Elements)
2- TBS Powdered Humic Acid

This makes about 12 cubic feet of soil. If you need to make less, figure out how many cubic feet of soil your setup usually requires and divide the ingredients to keep the ratios the same. I'm going to make up a recipe for about 4 cubic feet. Hope this helps.

Are you using the roots soil, if not what are you using?

Hey Chumlie,

Where's Tennessee Tuxedo? :-P Yeah I thought I'd go with Roots. One of the local hydro stores had one bag of Bio Biz Light sitting there when I stopped by for the Roots so I got 2 bags of Roots and 1 bag of Bio Biz Light & I'll mix them up. I'm going to make a 1/3 batch for my small grow and get it cooking out on my deck in this heat.

I had some really nice Kali Mist this week and late one night I got nicely baked and the energy of that wonderful sativa inspired me to get out the calculator and broke the recipe down to smaller batches to mix up in my garden.

I hope this helps!

lol, I cant wait.

my super soil grow is going great. To start them I took some ocean forest and organicare and some coco without amendments and I . . . royally fucked them up!

Then I put them in the amended soil after the roots came through and two weeks later they are the most beautiful plants I ever saw. In fact a week from transplant, more like a few days the green vigor was a thing to behold. Perfect.

Thanks sub.

Like I said, I used a mix of ocean forest, organicare aeration mix and some diy worm casts to give me another 7 gallons. (Also I added some kelp). Cool. This is the "super soil" from the first page.

I got to get the 1 gallon part right again. I am using light warrior now and feeding bio bizz and it looks good. 1 gallon> 7 gallon.

I recomend just going ten gallons as I am in seven gallon bags and am unsatisfied. more! trees! :)

I use 2 - 10 gal pots in a 2 x 4 x 8 closet for a personal med grow. After 10 years of trying many different brands & throwing a litany of nutrients and additives at this magnificent herb I feel like an ass for not figuring out all this much sooner. :wall: It makes so much sense the way you lay it out Subcool. I can't wait until your book 'Dank' gets here. I'll have my Subcool Super Soil cooking up on my back deck before the weekend is over.

I feel like the blind carpenter who took a hammer and saw! OUCH! 8-)

Thanks sssSOO much again.

You don't like the psychedelic black chick? I don't want to change the soil any cause its been perfected through twenty years of experiments. Yet like I said a many of times where I live you can't get shit with out spending an arm and a leg to get something shiped.

off the list I can't not get
bloom bat guano
steamed bone meal
rock phosphate, maybe

So it seems I can not do this recipe unless there are equivalents
