It was good advice

I could've said that blurple led is a piece of shit and so are your mite shit infested plants

Which they are but instead I chose to say look into decent LED lighting

You just don't like hearing anything that doesn't stroke your ego

Snap. Crackle. Pop. :spew:
:lol:Hilarious + exactly what I was thinking:eyesmoke:
Those spectrum are good for farming mites...

You should've used azamax or a similar organic miticide during veg, before flowering, or very early into flower.
I wouldn't smoke any buds that I knew had pesticides sprayed on them ~2 weeks b4 harvest.:spew:
Specifically if it's systemic because you can't just wash it off.

After harvest, I'd stop growing in that room for 2 weeks, + clean the whole area with bleach mixture.
Some mites are harder to kill than others.

Should gave a explanation instead of just belittling somebody every chance you get. Once again, I started this for fun and a learning experience, so it’s fine if this mite plant turn out to be shit. However, my next plants into flower will produce way better then this run.

Now you say something about the pesticide on buds being bad? smh! But thanks for the tip of cleaning the area and don’t use that space for two weeks. Will be wiping everything down again after this plant gets done flowering.

And I only have done one application so far of mighty wash. You think that will really effect the buds and it’s going for two more weeks of flowering?

Ok but ain’t that for people more experienced in building they own light because I’m not. So a single powered light works well for my situation.

My question still is what makes this a less decent light for my small grow?

Deep penetration:wink:, they have pre-built options...
I also like the Sunsystem 315 Cmh's mixed in during the cooler months.

You will have decent results with that light if the genetics are good, and grow-room environment is correct.
How small is it?o_O

Appreciate the advice, but have a short budgets and ain’t that tech savvy to know how all them different lights works and setting them up.

Flowering area is about 3 by 2 ft and probably 6 ft or more tall. My veg room is right next to it in the corner of a nice size room like a sun room/den

How much did that light cost?
You can cover that area with ~250 watt of quantum boards, but they are pretty expensive for pre-built.
~$350-400+ for quantum boards, ~$400+ for a 315w cmh which would easily cover that area aswell.

Just a little over 100. A very affordable price for its power.

You get what you pay for, you'll understand after a few grows.
I threw away a similar blurple after 2 rounds of use.
Totally understand, definitely just a temporary light for these little runs I’m doing. When I get more educated about all these different lights and get a new grow space set up, I will invest in them better penetration lights.

What’s decent lighting for you that’s not a pretty penny? I’ve seen a lot people post and make videos of good harvest from LEDS. What’s makes this not a decent light?
Inefficiency

Two 65 watt quantum board would probably double the output of that Blurple.

I haven't looked at them in a while.
Does anyone sell COB/quantum combo kits? Probably couldn't build it with only one driver.

I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Need coffee... :eyesmoke:
Honestly it's been a while since in looked into LED other than increasing the foot print of lec hood with quantum boards. Using maybe some 3000k boards with the 4200k bulb in the hood. Bet that would be a nice combo for a 4x4, possibly bigger

I too am talking out of my ass. I've just been thinking about a way to increase sqft of the cmh a bit

Yeah man, run what you've got.
I bet CMH + LED would work great!

I'm all about mixing it up and making the most out of whatever is on hand.
Check out my HEPA filter... :bigjoint:
