Strawberry Cough Smell

This is my first grow and I have 3 strawberry cough plants just starting the veg stage under cfl that i plan on lst and I'm starting to wonder about the future smell.

Does anybody know how strong/type the smell is when strawberry cough is flowering?

Also does a carbon filter need to be attached to the exhaust fan or can it be independent within a cabinet?

Thanks

don't know specifically about the strawberry cough smell, but rest assured almost all plants smell pretty heavy after a while.

and yes, the carbon filter does need to be attached directly to your exhaust fan. in theory all of you air should be going through your exhaust fan, so as the air goes through the carbon filter it will scrub out all of the organic chemicals in the air that cause the smell. :peace:

it has a sweet smell to it. It begins right at the end of flowering. Mine are being cure right now and they smell great. just watch out for nute burn. Because 1 plant came out bad during drying becuas it got nute burn

Yeah you should have stopped giving nutes about 2 weeks before harvest.

Oh well shit happens huh?
I've made the nute burn mistake a few times... hehehe:peace:
