What are these growths called that are appearing on at the nodes of my Lowryder 2 feminized? They look like buds but I think they aren't. The plants is about 3 weeks old and in an Aerogarden.

one of those pods are about to open and pollinate your entire crop.(males will pollinate females making the bud full of seed and also degrading the weed) Get rid of that thing asap.:leaf:

Well, the best laid plans have gone awry!!! All this fussing... my first grow... only to have been sold bad seed. Think I'll send the pic to the vendor.

Luckily, maybe, two plants are in the AG, and the other is younger by a week and not (yet?) showing this.

There's some thc in a male plant, but nothing very decent as far as buds will go. WHat you could do with a male is simply cut it all up, dry it, and try to make some hash oil with it. That, or plan old hash.

Otherwise, stick it into a blender, makes somee great green dye! :P

Agreed though, it does look like a male plant.

By the way, feminized doesn't mean 100% chance it'll be female. It more is like a 90-95% chance it'll be female, and about 5% to be a hermi.

:( It is always so sad to get rid of a plant youve spent so much time loving. It is, however, very obviously - all male.

Hey man, it happens. Take this as an analogy:

You've been friends since elementary school, and suddenly, your best friends announces to you that he's gay. At first, you aren't too sure about what where how and when, and you're completely lost. Then, maybe a few days later, he says he has a crush on you. You,ve then got 2 choices.

"Cut him up" by telling him you're not interested, and try to stay friends with him as much as possible

Or simply run the heck away. (throwing him out)

If you get the analogy, it'S quite representative! :D

So let me try to get my hopes up about the remaining plant which hasn't shown signs of sex. From Melangwanja, not-female in a feminized line has about a 1 in 10 chance of occurrence. So two rolls of the "dice" would be 1/10 times 1/10 or a chance of 1/100 of having two plants be non-female. We'll see how it goes!

I am drying the male. As a youth of the seventies, when grass was mild- it was almost always leaves only, it doesn't take much for me. Cremation by toke...

Yes, the plants were/are quite healthy... and surrounded by aluminum foil with no sign of "hot spots".

Well, I didn't quite mean it in a 1/10 manner, but the percentage gives a better idea. 66% does mean 2/3, but it's not so much as a probability as a possibility.
