sooo... who are you talking to now? I didn't mention anything about your weed till you posted it, then I gave an honest opinion. re-read the thread if you have a hard time following
The truth is that even after smoking, tasting, peeling and sniffing, I still would not be able to tell you what strain it is. I can guess between a few and usually be right about if it is Sativa or Indica dominate. I can guess between some of the passion fruits (that's just what I call the fruity-sticky purples, blues and other berries). But even with my wide range of experience and some other guys help that have even had more than me, we would not be able to pin point any one strain (especially from a picture).
I can tell you, however, what strains I think you would find pleasant, judging from what you have said. I would say; Purple God's Gift, Blueberry, Blackberry, Purple Urkle, and (one of my favorites, though it smells like monkey balls) Purple Monkey Balls, also known as Deep Chunk (I believe it is 100% Indica).

99% of dealers don't know what the strain is. They're too far down the line from the grower. Dealers will just make up a name, or tell you it's "insert popular name from rap song/internet here". I was lucky enough to have a dealer that was close to the grower (First step down from the grower). So when I visited him he would always ask "What do you want today? Mazar? Blue Dream? etc etc".
Dr. Greenhorn, not saying that you fall into the 99%. But truth is in most areas dealers don't know. Especially along the East Coast, because it exchanges too many hands.

No doubt your stuff is better but his is definitely not regs. Regs is green with little to no whiteness

Guy said the stuff was high grade (atleast for around here it is like nothing i've seen before which is usually brick)
I know they all have names etc now, but I'd like to know what strain this possibly could be:
It's very sticky, red/purple hair, loaded w/ "thc crystals" has a pretty pleasant, sweet taste.
strong/very heavy body/mind high
compared to the older "good" stuff i got smoked back then that.i thought was good,this is way stronger
Also please don't ban if in wrong section, mods if so please move to correct section, I didnt have time to read thru 40 something pages of FAQ sorry.
Any help is appreciated also i tried to provide you with the usual stuff. if there are questions to help w/ possible ID plz feel free to ask

as far as im concerned the only purple haze is from the 70s. anyone who calls purple weed purple haze doesn't know what they are talking about. It's likely called purple something, just not haze

He calls it purple haze cause 1- it's a purple strain, hence the purple color and 2- it's crossed with a haze.
The name is fitting cause it's purple, and the trichs look like haze.

Not trying to take sides just passing along my experience. I have also smoked purple haze and i guess i am one of the lucky ones that knows what kind of smoke im buying. I live in a small community so the game is a little different than in the city from what i gather. I have a close knit small group of people and i am the only one who knows the grower and he'll just have one strain flowering at a time so you are stuck with whatever he has. That kinda sucks because I like sativas and he usually grows indicas because of the shorter flowering time.

Definetly looks like some good smoke especially for the price, but it looks like those buds could've been a lot prettier... Im sure its dank but it looks like the grower needs to add some more light or maybe those just came from the bottom of the plant.lol... trying to one up me? We got purple weed too son... and I bet you I paid HALF the price you did... $7.15/gram

swim the magic ocean, you been trying all these years. That bud on the first page has northern lights in it, you can see it in the green. It also looks like, it has some dutch skunk, all them red hairs, and sweet after taste delight. I'd say it's afghani x skunk.. i'd say, SUPER SKUNK, MR. NICE SHIT. It's very light and almost yellow, like a fat nug of afghani northern light, but the hairs that cover all of it, and the taste is like dutch skunk. Hmmm yeah, oh oh oh yeah. Hmmm yeah. Ohohohohohoh yeah.
