Very good for a cfl grow. Good job You have done, Stoneknitter.
That isn`t pure sativa. Most of all strains are crossed - sativa and indica. And Your platns definately look like indica/sativa.
Did You flush them already?

And You`r gonna get a great smoke from these beauties. Definately.
Good luck!

Babs, it's starting to smell yummy in there too!! Haha!

Thank you DSN!! So you think I'm growing a hybrid? I haven't flushed yet. I'm not too sure how you do that. I never flushed a plant before!

To flush a plant you just run 3x the amount of water than the pot size is thro the plant.

If you pot is 3gallons you run 9 gallons of water thro it. This helps remove excess salt mainly but some other stuff as well, from your soil. This stuff builds up over time and to much of it can have negative affects on your plants. Generally a large container can go longer without being flushed. I flush my 5 gallon buckets about once every 3 weeks.

And of course you will want to flush 1 week before harvest and not run any nutes in your watering for that last week. (hydro flush is about 4 days)

This helps remove chemical taste from your buds and is very important. Non-flushed, harvested weed, will taste like doo-doo.

Thank you Tronica! I will flush them this weekend. Hopefully, taking the plants out of the closet to put them in the bath tub won't shock them too much! I'll also add a wee bit of molasses in the water!

The boyfriend is getting anxious and I'm a little worried. I should hide all the pruners and the cissors just in case! lol ;-)

ROFLLLLLLL.......good idea. You would HAVE to do just that to hold me back....yeah, I'm bad. If I just had something to hold me over til the right time, it would help me to fight the urge...sigh.
Take my word.....don't do it. It will only slow down growth.
I want to see more pictures!

TRICHOME FEST!
That's right! It's time for a in-the-dark photo session. I had to keep the closet door open so I could at least see where I was poiting my camera at. My cat, who loves mj greens, would not listen to me and would even ignore me when I would tap him on the nose to keep him from munching at Plant B. But when I saw how disgruntled he became (sorry, no pic of that), I felt bad and gave him a yellowing leaf from one of the 4" pots plant.

Plant A (with P-B on the left)

Plant B

Plant C

Froufrou!!

I hope you enjoy that as much as I did! :)

I just had a thought and I need some feedback on this! Is it ok to flush with town water? The plants are used to it but I'm concerned by the amount of town water that they will be exposed to in one session.

dont take my word for it but i think if they always get city water it is ok to flush em with it. but i am not an experienced grower so like i said do not take my word on it, cause i dont want you to ruin them beauties.
wow only week four and your buds are lookin like that? shit if the next three or four weeks go as smoothly as the rest of your grow you should be looking at a very sizeable harvest, looks hella dank too, im jelous

Looking good Stone....really good. I'm still amazed you are accomplishing this under 26's to be honest.
<Laughing>---if your cat really loves the ganja, I'd suggest keeping her at bay if you know what I mean.
Now, off noting how well your plant is doing and how mine is NOT. I've noticed some gnat thingies flying around lately....lil bastards have become my warpath!!! I treated them tonight out of desperation with something I hope works--crossing my fingers.
I just thought I'd mention the remote possibility of this becoming a problem for you as well....I'd hate to see it happen. I don't know if you have other house plants or if your cat ever goes outside, but it's definitely not a rare thing to happen---mites, gnats.
~~~Just some food for thought. Be on the lookout!!! From your pictures, your leaves and buds look healthy and uninfected, but hey......mine did too not but a couple of weeks ago. Perhpas you pre-treated with something I should have used???
Thank you Joker!! :)
Babs, in such a confined space, things can go wrong pretty fast. But fortunately, these are the only plants I touch. My other houseplants are cacti and I have a gold fish plant. When we bought the soil, I made sure there was no holes in the bags where insects could've gotten in and I've used high quality brand name soil. I am weary of exposing them to anything else. I started some tomatoes seeds yesterday from a new bag of soil and there is no way that I'm going to expose my plants to them until I know for sure that it's ok. And then again, with spider mites....!! I have washed my pots with soap and hot water before planting anything new in them. And I keep an eye for signs of pest invasion whenever I perform my CO2 dutie (lol, I placed a chair in the closet so I just chill in there and watch my plant be... and I feed them with CO2 doing that! haha). And the boyfriend has started to check the buds for signs of rot! As for my bad kitty cat: he's an indoor cat so I'm not worried about him carrying pests inside the house.
And I don't believe in pesticides: they've caused me a lot of grief in the past. I would rather use lady-bugs (if the boyfriend let me haha!) So to answer your question, no I haven't pre-treated them.
I'm really sorry to hear about your fly problem Babs!! :(
Ok, we need help here!!! The landlord is going to come over here to fix the ceiling in our bedroom and we need to speed the flowering process!! I know yield and quality will be affected, but we gotta do something cause the consequence of being caught seems more aggravating to me then anything. Plant B could easily be ready in this 2 weeks window that we now got! But Plant A is taking her time!!!
NOOO, don't harvest those beauties YET. If your landlord is coming to fix something, just be present. Move your plants. Don't you have a large enclosed armoire or just "something"
If he's there to fix the ceiling in a bedroom, is there another bedroom available where he wouldn't have to enter??? If the smell is a concerning factor.....go to Lowes and get some spray "Zorb"---rids of the odor, doesn't mask it. FIND a place that is enclosed---where he would just have NO business entering.
Harvesting now would just be a waste.
LOL, no need for additional CO2 here either. I breathe on mine ALL DAY LONG.
BTW, "fly problems" in control for now. Gawd....I panicked upon first checking them this morning, but I think they will survive.
Thank you Babs! Unfortunatly we don't have a spareroom. The only other closet we got is the bathroom closet which is a big no-no! And we don't have any armoire either... A friend of ours suggested to changed the light cycle from 12/12 to 10/14 and then to 8/16, so it might speed things up a little. And another of our friends suggested to make bubble hash with what we got already (well, the landlord has to give a 24 hour notice before showing up. Our friend suggested to cut the plants down for bubble hash -when- the landlord will give us his notice). I'm really hoping that the landlord was just saying that to reassure us that he didn't forget about the ceiling. Maybe something will come up and he won't show up for the rest of the month. Hoping... hoping... what do you guys think of the bubble hash idea?
Those buds look enough big and nice to smoke them. Make bubble hash out of leaves and small buds.
Hey all! Here is today's picture report! lol
The Ladies are engaging their 5th week of flowering. I'm a little bummed out though because we are soooo close! So close to the end... and atm my harvest is a little threatened! So much beauty in my closet and now I get this brutal reminder that... what I'm doing is actually illegal and I could get in serious trouble for it! Anyway, trying to stay positive regardless! Trying to send some positive vibe into the grow room! What the landlord say and what the landlord do can be different. But I'm also tormented by a decision. We're thinking of moving out. And if we do, it would be next month and I'm worried that the landlord will want to show our apt to other people! ARGNNN!!!!!
Anyway, this is what I see... whenever I close my eyes!
We trimmed the bottom this weekend, so hopefully that will concentrate the plant's strenght to it's top buds.
And this.... is Plant D! Like Plant C, this plant is growing out of a 4" pot. She's one of my ongoing experiments and she's just an insane little thing!! The buds are tiny, but littered with trichomes!!
Plant B,
Plant A,
To everybody out there looking at these pictures, THIS GROW IS ENDANGERED! lol!! So please send some -positive vibes- this way!! Haha! We need it!! Thank you!!
They are so beautiful! Good that You trimmed bottom - with cfl`s bottom is getting very small amounts of light. Well - this is a wonderful grow. There is nothing better to see healthy plants with beautiful buds. :)
And don`t forget that laws are bullshit! It is illegal in goverments eyes, but there is nothing bad You are doing. Herb is food for our spiritual world. So - I hope You will manage to end this grow like You want.
