yeah, tell me about it i came into this thing trying to create a cross strain out of one of the papaya with maybe bluemystic or bubbleicious the nlx haze was just for grow as was the skunk#! then the only thing that came out male was the 1 skunk go figure glad to have the fem's but jeez now i have to cross the skunk with one of the others and dont know which one..so i think ill let whoever is following this thing choose the second cross..that should be fun..Peace Pot Prosperity

also, the male might be bad genetics you should post a pic of him too

yes i was just getting to that had to get some pics of the groom and a couple of the girls i may need to take some pic's of the ladies seperately but anyways i'll leave your picks up for two days then what ever one has the most votes i'll cross that with the skunk...

Ok so here we go these are the strains that i have to try and get good quality seeds from. My females are these:

1) BUBBLELICIOUS X 1

2) PAPAYA X 1

3) NL X HAZE X 1

4) BLUE MYSTIC X 2

My lone Male is Skunk #1


Now common wisdom tells me to cross the Skunk with one of the blue mystic's because i have two of them, but im going to leave it up to you all that are keeping track of this grow..so you call it and i'll cross it..Here are some pic's of the groom and the ladies..pic's 1-3 are the male obviously and pic's 4-7 are the girls all together if anyone needs solo shots of the ladies ill post some later tonight..PPP

by the way i forgot to tell you all of these beans were reg. not fem and the male is very healthy so i dont think he is from bad genetics at least i hope.. come on voters let me know which strain to cross my SKUNK#1 with.. Peace Pot Prosperity

I would want to use a better male than the one you have, that one looks too leggy for my liking
I would want a shorter more compact male with good frosting already

Yes, he did get a lil lanky though no fault of mine, i tried to stop his growth but he will not quit. He's actually still growing,not to mention that he is my only male out of 6 sprouts, so unless he is so bad in your oppinion that he's worthless he'll have to do.Hey some people look at me and may think im not a great dad but i know i am!! LOL now that you see its him only what do you think?

keep him and let mother nature decide...no such thing as a 'dud', it is all preference....if it were an inferior plant it would have died by now.....u two crossed paths for a reason on this journey, bask in it and be mindful of the nonsense these darwinistic botanical eugenicists spout out...peace

hey thanks RH, glad to have you drop by im going on with the show with what i have as you said, and thanks for the words of encouragement. I hope that you continue to drop by, i ceartainly can use some possitive feed back! by the way if you had your choice which would you pollinate? BM BB NL x HAZE PAPAYA ? and peace pot and prosperity to you as well..

i'ld say go with every possible combo that u can....i look at them like dogs....fuck all that AKC pedigree bullshit, every dog that i have ever had in my life was a mutt from the pound or a stray that stayed around and every one turned out to be a good dog....some of these guys stress too much over genetics and phenotypes which i agree is important to a certain extent but in reality it is all personal preference because truly 'weak' genes die out, natural selection right?....i believe that there is a hidden element that makes plants truly thrive and grow to their fullest potential and that is the LOVE from the gardener....i suggest u look into the studies of Cleve Backster and others in his field to get a better understanding of the message that im attempting to get across....peace bro

and yes your skunk is fairly "leggy", not the best node spacing but it should do

Hey HOC, great man i love the sound of that PAPA SKUNK, really have to give that some thought thanks for the suggestion..i just got my new bulb in today full spectrum hps im not sure if im going to replace the bulb this grow i'll see how well the factory one moves the growth along first if i dont like the proggress then i'll change it out for the better one..peace

P.S ive never seen a full grown male plant so i didnt know that it fills out like a female or not..

Good looking laddies you have their Stinkbudd1. I see your using Cutting Edge Solution, but what products are you using like the Plant amp, Mag amped, Uncle John's blend. I was planning on doing a hydro grow but after looking at this I can use the nutrients I have and use soil. Also, what size container are you using? I grew skunk#1 outdoor and from the time it took to bud I would say sativa atleast 9-11weeks not sure exactly how long, but was longer than Afghan goo which is almost 100% indica. You think its done budding but it just keeps growing....

Hey whats up tidalwave, first of all welcome to you. glad to have you here. Also thanks for the compliment on the girls, yes im using the cutting edge all the way through on these as far as the mag amp, plant amp, and uncle john's i mainly used them up until my second week of flowering as a foliar spray only the only other thing im using is sweet grape and half mollasses. everything seems to be going ok for now never any burn or leaf trouble so im liking the stuff.as for the containers they are just under one gallon got them from the dollar store because they fit perfectly into my grow area. thanks for droping by again stay tuned..peace

So ok, here i am getting good and into my flowering stage and something just did'nt seem right, this is my first hps grow and i kept looking at other journals and noticing the grow rooms with flowering hps's had a yellowish tent to them. Well mine did'nt, so i checked it out and found out that the company sent me a MH bulb instead of the HPS i ordered! WOW The good thing is just today my new HPS full spectrum arrived so i quickly changed it out and put the right one in and alll is well i hope.Maybe now i'll get some real budding going on...stay tuned

thanks for the input slabhead and i forgot to mention it but that was one of my opions i was thinking about and you are right on with that i was maybe going to pollinate one or two buds of the nl x hze and one or two buds of another..so good post thanks ..Peace..

personally, i would cross it with your most indica plant. reason being is that the male plant is very lanky and highly sativa. your grow space wont allow you to grow some tall ass bitch. so you should cross it with the shortest fattest plant that you have to try and even things out. jmo
