Strain NYC diesel soma seeds
soil..fox farm ocean forest
advanced nutrients bloom/big bud/carboload
sensizyme, hygrozyme, bloombastic

ph, 6.0-6.5
ppm around 1000-1200, my last batch of NYC diesel took 1500 with no problems.

Week 6 of 10-12

Old large fan leaves are turning purple/brown between the veins and on to yellow then dying. I know older leaves go as plant matures but this seems early for that to be happening. Younger growth/fan leaves are maybe lightening up a bit but not to such an extent. Maybe the buds are not swelling up as much as they should but at this stage, I'm expecting that to happen soon. All tips of all my babies are always white/yellow I assume this to be from the chlorinated tap water which usually suffices. There is no "purple-ing" of the stems.

Any preliminary guesses? What other info might I offer?

Sorry these pics are the best i can do.

If someone could just confirm that it doesnt look like nute burn..I will just flush with some ph'd water, and up my nutes.

Of course, if you notice anything particular; Any advice would be appreciated. So far along..hate to have things go bad now.

looks like natural nitro def from flowering. they eat up nitro from leaves when flowering 4-5 wks or more. looks good otherwise from what i see. start your flush 2 weeks b4 harvest.

I have been a little lazy. My first grow with this NYC diesel went so well. I kept a feeding schedule, everything went great. So now I just sort of "eye" how far the plants are and feed accordingly. I'm not even 100% sure exactly where I'm at in the flowering could be anywhere from 5-7 weeks (i have a few diff plants at a few diff stages). In the past..the fan leaves never died this quickly or to this extent, that's what worries me. But, then again what perplexes me is that the plant is maturing a lot faster than other ones had --from the same mother.

Just to be safe...I flushed today. Not quite 3x the container volume but I flushed the 3gallon pots with 6 gallons of water. Then added a bit over 1/2 strength nutes. I hope that would help if there is any sort of lockout.

ppm now is around 1100 (i would usually be at 1500 or 1600 by now)

I also realized that the ph of my pure water when i add it is probably a little on the high side so I will start lowering it a little before plain waterings (I water with nutes every other watering)

So you don't know exactly how far along in the grow it is, but you know it is going
faster than past plants? Between 5-7 weeks is a big difference..

You said TDS was around 1100, what is the EC factor on that? .7 or .5?

Sounds like you were doing great with a feeding schedule, you should go back to
being organized. Keep a journal so you can look up exactly what you have done
in the past weeks. and the past feeds.. And so you can actually know how old
the plant is, thats kind of key. GL!
