clinton of course! what do i win?
Interesting. So then you are making up your own definition like trippin does. I'm still waiting for Trippin's reply because they as well as you are creating your own dictionary.

In your opinion, which specific policy or statement represents Clinton's neoliberalism.

thats why dems are dead; progs are poised to fulfill this country's vacuum destiny of demi-soci in 2020.
Apparently you don't follow any of the special elections. Dem party is gaining more and more followers thanks to trump.
The dem party is so dead that Barney slanders had to flip from progressive to dem to even gain traction..... Just to get wiped by a democrat

Man, I will tell you again.

Neoliberals are FAKE Liberals.

F A K E . F-A-K-E. FAAAAAKEEEEEE

Not Real. Pretend. Lying.
Could it be that you are confusing neoliberal with pseudo-liberal? also @schuylaar

I can pull up the generally accepted definition of neoliberal and the generally accepted definition is not fake liberal. It is liberalized economic policies best summed up as laissez faire polices towards businesses, privatization of education and the military, austerity, deregulation of businesses.

Would you also say that Clinton best represents neoliberalism?

Free trade is also a cornerstone of neoliberalism. So, ok, she supported NAFTA and the Trans-pacific trade alliance or she did until she didn't.

What about her support for the ACA, Medicare and Social Security? Would you say those are something a neoliberal is expected to support?

Tell that to the Jonestown survivors. I mean, it was really hot, and that Kool aid looked really refreshing...
From all accounts, they knew what was in the Kool aid.

In any case, that situation has absolutely nothing to do with the Skripals in any way.

Even Buckwit conflates better than you do.

No, she and her policies fit the definition of 'neoliberal' very well indeed. If you're confused, go back and read the definition again.

Again, supporting the ACA, Medicare, Social Security, SNAP, eliminating in-state college tuition for lower income families, equal pay, increase the federal minimum wage, increase federal infrastructure spending. Would those apply to your definition of neo-liberal?

@trippnface , @schuylaar ?

as a man, you are telling a women how she must feel?

do you live in stepford ny, per chance?
You're right. I have no reason to tell you how you should feel about young ladies being treated to feel and look like a princess for a night. If you want to be bitter and ugly that is your right.
I assume you never went to the prom or something bad happened at your prom. which ?

Those describe Bernie's stated policies very well. If you seriously think that was going to be Hillary agenda once she got into office, you're as gullible as a Trumper in a single wide.

Stephen Hawking would definitely have supported any candidate who actually wanted to enact these policies.

I'd like to think Hillary would have, but I'm all too aware of who contributed to her campaign war chest.

I'm just reporting the policies she promoted during her campaign and asking if you thought they were neoliberal policies. As you said before, we agree what the definition of neoliberal is and according to Clinton's record, she held some policies that aligned with neoliberalism but many more that were not.

Paul Ryan is a much better example of a neoliberal. Even Donald Trump doesn't fit the neoliberal mold as defined by the general use of the term. Rand Paul does though.

@schuylaar , @trippnface are making up their own definition and I was asking questions to understand what their idea of the term meant.

Trippnface said fake liberal. OK, you could call Clinton a fake liberal. I'd like to know what policies or votes she took made her a fake liberal?

Bernie cold be called a fake liberal for claiming to be liberal but also voting for the 1994 crime bill or funding the Iraq war or for the gun lobby. I wouldn't call him neoliberal based upon the generally accepted use of the term but you might, depending on your definition as "fake liberal". So, @trippnface , is Bernie a neoliberal too?

Disinformation campaigns need to keep things short, otherwise they're too easy to spot.

Bernie is America's most popular politician and getting more so.

You're as stupid as I think you are if you think Hillary was going to do anything more than mouth the words she stole from the Sanders campaign until she got into office.

She made her allegiances clear enough during the campaign when she took millions from the banksters and spoke behind white noise generators so the riff-raff couldn't hear.

Social change is nice, but it's nowhere near enough. If you are willing to make that trade that's on you, but don't expect the rest of us to go along with your 'more of the same' or 'lesser of two evils' logic anymore.

We need change in the form of solving America's pocketbook and inequality issues. Ignore us and keep losing, Democraps.

Actually, Biden is occupying the top position of who voters would vote for. According to opinion polls, which I look down on but you don't, Bernie would never be voted in as prez, even if he makes the Democratic nomination which is unlikely.

except for the other politicians who are more popular than bernie, bernie is the most popular.

also, if bernie had not lost, bernie would have won
Derp

Go vote for Democrats as if they give a fuck about you.

Sure looks like it's been working out great- except when it hasn't.
