Because I am crafty, I take care of my truck maintenance and have extra time to do shit Why not? I dont like to wait for shit in the mail and I have so many grow shops around me and dont want to buy a kit from someone else that I could have made faster and easier

get 2 its cheaper. the expandable only comes with one sys and a bigger res.
dont get any nutes from them tho.

nutes dont come with the basic kit just pump airstone etc.
Right now i use Advanced Nutrients Sensi +2 n 3part series.
But i also got General Hydro 3pt. Flora Series cause I get em free.
GH flora is great for first starter's fuckin easy.

I bought my own (larger - 17gal.) tub and just bought the stuff I couldn't find locally from StealthHydro.
Some advice - Make sure you have a good source of water for your grow before you start. I learned the hard way that my water has way too much iron in it, and ended up having to buy distilled water most of the time. That got expensive.
I even used the powdered nutes they give with it. It worked OK, and I still have some extra. It was kind of a pain to mix well though.
Like someone else mentioned, Roseman on here has tons of info about these, with some tips and tricks to help out. Best of Luck.
