thanks for the info but i already have a ph tester i used one i had for my pool in my back yard the waters fine i just need a good soil from walmart

When I germinate I soak the seeds in warm ph 6.3 water until they sink to the bottom. Approximately 12 hours.
Then I move the seeds to a damp paper towel and place ontop of my cable box. Less than 24 hours later most seeds have cracked and are ready to place in the soil. That method gives me a 90% success rate.
As for what soil I recommend? Well you cant get it at wal mart. I like to use Fox Farm Oceans Forrest and I think its the best Ive ever used. But hey, thats just my opinion. I did side by side tests with scotts premium and also organic miracle grow, but the Fox Farm promotes faster, darker green growth. It is $15 USD per bag where I live.
One thing that is a MUST! is proper PH.
You can get a cheap chemical test solution for less than $10 USD.

i heard of fow farm and ive been recommended it alot but i only have a walmart close to me and even that is like a 2-3mile hike from my house (i have no car) and i will check the seeds a bit later tonight around 12ish (eastern standard time)

i dont live in the us and i doubt i can even get any soil from walmart becz i think their garden section is CLOSED but a friend that owes me money is going to check soil he has and i will no the name and the #-#-# numbers and post here to see if it is a good soil to use (becuz it will be free)

these r the only soils i found on the flyer (scotts lawn soil(will it work?) and scotts pro blends top soil(will it work?) ) please look at these and tell me which is better and which will work thansk again

pretty sure those seeds werent good still not even crackd so i dug up the on in soil gently and it wasnt crackd either and i crackd the one seed in the soil i had and it was a black embryo and it lookd just dead so i throw it the other seeds no luck still 2 days after i checkd its been about a week and not success germing so i have more time now i will be buying/getting 4 or more 6500k 23w cfls and using them (only 4 probly if i cant get them off my friend) and i will be getting the lawn soil from the link above i was told topsoil sucks becuz it is like mud the top soil is $3 and hte lawn soil is $6 and the NPK or whatever is better from this soil and i will be getting a tiemr for $10 and ask a clerk if it can take 4 23w cfls or more(just the wattage 46x2=92ws or more if it cant then i will be getting the power bar timer (it is $20) but i will update once i pick up these this weekend or friday and when i get more seeds
