Because of their size if one is replaced normally the old one is done away with.

What you could do is put it in the basement/attic... I don't think if you have a nice TV in the living room and a shitty old TV in the attic anyone will question it...

Can do the same with a refrigerator too! And really. If someone says Yo your tv dont work you say yeah no shit. Its broke dick. Dont touch my shit. Good job. i have a tv like that but it works. FUCK

That's a good idea, but I live in an apt. complex... When I move into my house there will be a designated room for my projects...

i thought about the fridge, but in the apt. that would look crazy... In a house yes, Similar principles only the fridge would be leak proof.

Now all you need is to find a LCD flatscreen that fits that frame perfectly and build it into the front of the projection tv so it actually works and nothing looks suspicious. Nobody would realize it's a flatscreen, you can't really tell.

It's simple... #1 take all the screws out of the back of the TV. #2 most old big screen Tv's had rear projection and a mirror, take all that out. #3 Cut 4 holes 2 intake, 1exhaust and 1 for a filter. #4 mylar the whole TV (both sides) then put it back together and see if it fits snug. #5 grab lights 10 26watt CFL's (daylight) 4 fans 2 dryer hook ups. And you should be off and running.. As for the parents how are the? Are they strict or laid back?

I thought of the flat screen idea, but the money for the flat screen could be used for beans or supplies..
