i have to admit to that, I bought 10 seeds get 10 seeds free, I did that with the NL & the Durban POISON, they werre trash as well.. only a few grew after that all died, from various growths with no explanation
Try 7 East gen. No problems usualy with Ilgm. There Dos si has been spot on plus others. Did have problems a couple years ago with Gorril a glue but think that’s sorted out now.

The more pics of shoddy plants posted the more people will catch on to the fact they are peddling subpar genetics. Just posting words is just that. Let's see some of these plants.

If looking for quality bulk seeds check out Linda Seeds. Excellent bank..

When I had that problem with Blue Dream and I reported it, they send me new seeds without any problem. When I couldn't report it correctly with the code from the little pouch, and I waited way too long to report it (or plant the seeds), then I could not get a refund. Usually I do not have a problem. Unfortunately last year was awful due to weather, as I grow outdoors. I was stupid and slow to correct issues and I did not ask for any refunds.

I have done 6 years outdoor with ILGM blue dream feminized (terrible luck with other strains). The plants that grow, and don't get mold, are REALLY AMAZING in every way. We smoke and make edibles for personal medical use. The weather here lately is our main issue...even worse than the bugs. The sativa dominant seeds like it hot, and we live near the coast. Our worst year was 2023, grow year 6 with a lot of mold. I do not think my problems are ILGM's fault, but I am concerned that the quality (germination rates) may not be as good as it was in grow year 1 and 2...but the weather was much hotter.. so I cannot blame them...yet. However, they do not have a 100% germination rate. They have given me free seeds before, but I will not ask them if it is my fault, which I think it is. I am looking to try a new supplier...I want outdoor grow seeds, organic if possible. Blue dream and jetlagOG would be nice. I cannot complain about ILGM without any comparison to other suppliers.

Try Humboldt seed co. ( not Humboldt seed org, diff company) Solfire Gardens, Humboldt CSI, Ethos genetics. North Atlantic Seed Co. Has a bunch of good breeders. ILGM's beans have never gave me problems germinating. Ive had 2 total out of almost 30 beans not germ. When i started running autos under LED's i struggled with getting plants to finish strong. THAT was not ILGM's fault. When i started running Mephisto, Fast buds and Dutch Passion i started seeing consistency among strains. Especially Mephisto, but the others too gave me plants that grew and looked and smelled/tasted the same run after run. Ive yet to have 2 ILGM beans grow and turn out the same. Yes, some were quite good, but never consistent. All it takes to achieve consistency is to grow big runs and select the good phenos and make them IBL's . ILGM's breeders just dont get past the F1 cross stage. The plants grow well enough usually but in my experience they are all over the place. One bean of WW leans total indica and is an 18" bush while the next leans sativa and is lanky as hell. Until i ran quality genetics i thought it was me. After 4 years of perpetual grows i know now its their genetics. Ive had a very few ILGM plants that really were good. Ive had alot more that flopped. My last GGauto grew huge and had colas like a tennis ball can but the buds never developed a single trichome. Not 1. Thats not me thats their genetics. They sent me 10 replacement seeds after i griped ALOT. But id never waste my cash again when i have much better options now. Alright.... theres my 6 month check-in rant.

In the grand scheme, hardly any breeders work lines to ibl. It simply doesn't pay when the market dictates it wants the next hype crossed to the next hype. I wouldn't expect that from ilgm anyway because aren't they a fem seed maker/bulk fem seed reseller?

All i know is i wont be buying their gear again. I fell for the 10+10 deal just like so many others new to buying beans. Ive honestly had better consistency running bagseed mexican sativas. I wouldnt have a clue how many breeders have IBL strains.Id say there are plenty out there if you care to look. I dont care about the grand scheme either. I just know that for my needs, i wont run anymore BS F1 strains from generic breeders. If i cant get a little info on the Breeder and the strain then i dont need it. I have a small growspace and I really cant afford freaky phenos of grab bag crosses. I dont claim to be an expert but i know where to buy beans now from people who are. Ive outgrown my use for ILGM. Live and learn. Ive done both. The F6-F7 Mephistos ive been running are so much better in every way to anything ive grown from ILGM stock. I dont expect them to be Mephisto level but id love to see a better ILGM.

Sombody asked for pics. Here’s 1 Dsd plant from Ilgm. Other finished a week earlier. I figured I’d try when they cam out with the strain. All have been pretty consistent.
If there’s a strain you like why not breed it and make your own seeds? Problem solved. My son had a bag seed he grew and it was amazing. Purple without cold. Deep with. Smells of skunky cheese. Nice spacing and it’s balance. Plus no nanners. So I have a good strain to pair with something. F1 but free seeds.

Thats a nice plant. Some of the best stuff ive grown was from a single bagseed that popped out of a disp. gram that a buddy gave me. I dont have time or space to breed. Im pretty happy now growing through Mephistos catalog. Maybe one day when i have a field to grow a bunch of plants in ill try some crosses. Until then im fine paying $5 -something each to now theyre gonna be flame. Thats a sweet scrog ya got going there. A couple of those would be nice. Not every ILGM plant has sucked for me but the ones that flopped were really bad. With my small space, those flops really hurt. Even though i got a plant gave me 6 zips, it tasted like straight hay. Oh well, im glad some people are getting some good results. They just werent reliable enough for my needs. I did learn a ton about growing running through near 50 beans. So theres that.

I've had a real bad experience from them, not going into detail, but it seems he has his chick running the show sometimes

not a hater but he seems a dork and shouldn't be doing what he's doing imho

computer smart more than anything
I've bought seeds from them twice. First time only 40% popped and they replaced the order. Same ratio on the replacement.

Ordered more 6 months later and only 30%.popped. I wrote a polite letter. They replaced them but mentioned they had replaced seeds for me before.

So I went elsewhere. 1/3 the price and every seed popped.

Guess it wasn't my problem after all.

out of six plants only two looked close to being alike, the rest were all different phenos!
And theres the rub. Us growers that want to do more than just grow beans have a real need for quality and consistency. Its hard to have a decent 6 plant grow work efficiently when 2 plants are 15-18" tall and the rest very from 2 to 6 ft. Ive had this situation several times. At least with autos you dont have to worry about light cycle. But its still hard as hell getting any semblance of an even canopy. Oh well, ive had my say on all this. Ive more important things to do than gripe about a company i no longer buy from. Things like growing my good beans, smoking a bowl and ,,,scratching my arse. Lol . If ILGM is the only place you can get beans then I wish good luck. Its better than not growing. For the rest of us, theres plenty of decent breeders out there. Start trying them out. Peace!

That’s one shitty thing I can say about ILGM. They think their beans are dud proof. They’ll replace them, even multiple times. However they will drop you like an insurance company after a couple of replaced orders. At least that’s what I’ve picked up on in this thread.
I’ve only flowered out one of their plants. Popped 1 seed out of a 20pk of their wedding cake (obtained free via promo code won on Instagram)
IMG_1171.jpegIMG_1174.jpegIMG_0577.jpeg
I’ve been sitting on their purple haze, blue haze, SSH, SLH, sour diesel, chocolope, gold leaf, and strawberry cough for quite a while. Wasn’t blown away by the results though it was decent. I have other breeders gear in the vault I’d rather get to that I haven’t run before I pop more of ILGM.

You had one of their better phenos. I had a couple plants that were real kickers. Totally reeked, tasted great and sticky as hell. But its a grab bag. With your bean collection id be wanting to run some of that other gear too. Raw is supposed to be very good and Solfire is blowing mf's up! Yeah, you got enough things to keep your space full awhile i reckon.

I've had pretty good germination success with ILGM. However, I grew their OG Kush auto, and there was hardly any trichome production. I just ordered their sour diesel, but my main concern is that you never know if you're getting the strain that you think you're getting, since they breed their seeds in house. I hope I didn't pay for seeds that really aren't sour diesel, but have a similar effect, and they labeled it as sour diesel. I also used North Atlantic, and only 2 out of 5 seeds germinated. I want to get some super lemon haze seeds, but now I have no idea which seed bank to get them from.

I have had great success with ILGM seed stock so far. I guess I'm just lucky, the SLH was wonderful tasty smoke with great near pure sativa effects, produced 9ozs on a shortish veg time. I won't be ordering from them again based on advice from this board, my local grow shops and other research. As well as price point $20/bean is just not practical. I've grown out 5 of their strains the only gripe I've had is their orange bud hermed out on my and the only stresser I can think she had was a mild calcium deficiency.

SLH is exactly the strain I’m wanting to get. I was about to order them from ILGM until I realized that they don’t even sell both of the strains that SLH is made from. Not sure how they can they truly produce SLH for this reason.
