Ive only ordered from them once. One of my 2 freebies didnt pop but my mephistos did. Will they replace any bad beans or are we fkd? I didnt even try because it was just 1 bean and occasionally beans just dont pop. A half pack id be pissed.
They do have a policy but it kind of stinks. If you don't pop within 30 or 60 days I think you are sol. They will credit you the per seed amount instead of replace in my experience. I find I get more and better freebies direct from breeders anyways.
Example. If I buy a pack or 2 off NASC I'll get what, 2 free beans? I ordered 2 packs off AK BB and got a free full pack of another strain. Exotic genetics hooked me up with 2 or 3 free 6 packs of fem beans. So now we just order direct from the source.

Thats definitely better. I know Mephisto beans are cheaper direct from them + they throw in multiple freebies wiith every order. Im writing down a list of good breeders that will ship to me. That way eventually I can buy direct too.

For one, I've always used what was available. I've heard every self proclaimed expert talk about this light or this fertilizer and basically suggest throwing more money at it. But ponder this, what do they think growers used before this crap came to market? Everything is overcomplicated. And seed dealers keep claiming high quality, but only garauntees it to sprout? And they're the ones making claims about how much it yields, not the customer. Where's the reputable dealers? That stand behind those claims? I used to be able to take any seed, a shovel full of dirt, some old container, and some mg; and never have a problem growing beautiful plants! Now it has to be specific dirt, hybrid seeds, gigantic containers, enough meters and test equipment to do a science project, a600/1000 watt light that comes with a matching light bill, pH bullshit, specialized fertilizer, dehumidifier, humidifier, timer, etc. Which I'm sure is great for Donald Trump's kids,if they decide to grow pot! What about everyone else? That can't afford that?
I start indoors then go outside. I don't even use fertilizer until flowering. Most brand name dirt, feeds for 3 months or more. Calcitic lime and/or magnesium to raise pH, elemental sulfur to lower it,in soil. Well water, sunlight. Worked like a charm for years now. Except with ilgm seeds. Experts need to comprehend that most people don't have politician pockets!
Testify my friend! If youve read much of this page youll see alot of us have the same gripes. Dude i used to grow inside under standard fluorescent lights with a landscape halogen and didnt have these issues either. The catch, I always grew from bagseed. That shit was so stable it would grow wild from tossing seeds in the yard. These breeders have come up with some potent strains but they seem alot like a pureblood dog. They get sick easier and have more genetic problems. I grow autos now so everythingis literally a hybrid by definition. Its hard to find landrace strains now. Even the commercial reggie ive seen is being grown from bought, feminized seeds. This from the Mexicans mouth. They had fkn Gelato last month. Crazy even mexican weed aint mexican anymore. LOL. I switched companies for consistency. Some of the ILGM beans did great. Others sucked bad. I have a tiny grow so i cant afford to waste space. I suggest to try a few breeders. Buy small packs and try it out. Alot of folks will drop 100's with a company without checking them out and then be angry and broke. Good luck with your search. If you find something great let us know.

I've used flourescent tubes and cfl's before. Worked great. I use LED lights nowadays. Nothing fancy or expensive, just the right color temperature and lumens. But I wouldn't attempt flowering with them. And HPS and mh are way too expensive to run. The problem is in the genetics. Because of the conditions and products being used to control everything, is passed on through the seeds. Meaning the seeds require those same conditions and products. I learned that years ago. Everyone says never use mg. But that's actually what most people were using before these products came to market. I've used mg and kept any seeds that came from those plants. The seeds actually done great using mg, after that. And seeds from those plants done even better with mg. This whole mess was created by people using expensive products. Meaning the seeds require the same expensive products. And you're right about the bagseeds! Used to be able to toss them and they'd grow. My complaint is,why make outrageous claims about seeds, when they can't deliver on those claims? Why not make it more simplified? And why not make it work for everyone, not just for the highest bidder? Basically, why not deliver on those claims or why make claims in the first place? In my opinion, they all need to go back to the drawing board and come back with something that delivers results! Then stand behind their results and claims, instead of just making money selling seeds.

Youre right. Something else that i believe is that they dont sell us the best genetics. I found a seed in some dispensary weed a friend had and grew it. Th I s plant grew big faster than my autos and i had zero trouble with it even though I was starting with leds. I didnt even use nutes. And it was great. Its all a $$$$$ deal and us small timers aint in on it. And crazy thing. The companies keep claiming they are improving strains but in raising thc, they lose terps. Well im startin to rant again and ive already fixed my genetics issue i think. But yeah it boils down to money and who you know. These days everything does. BTW you can get some decent flower under leds. I just pulled over 310 grams minus 40 grams of larf under 2x100w leds. My setup is dirt cheap too and I'm not the grower some here are. I wish i could grow outside but i dont have a spot.

I'm in the process of growing and have grown some NASC white label [bargain] seeds. So far I've had one misfire out of seven seeds. It was a GDP fast seed that never sank. I sprouted another GDP fast seed that was amazing, not very purple but bushy, potent and tasty. The Gelato freebie tried to take over my tent, once again potent and tasty. I've started a new crop, Kosher Kush is coming along nicely as are the 2 dollar! seeds Jungle Cake x Wedding Tree and Dosido's x Fortune Cookies. I dropped one of my freebie seeds down the sink which I mentioned in an email and they said that's a shame we'll throw in some extra seeds on your next order. How about that for customer service. FYI they do not guarantee the white label seeds but there's no reason to expect them to behave any different from premium priced seeds.

I've only cursed over the last couple of pages but just a glance at the pictures shows secondary nutrient deficiencies.

Thats not the seedbank/seedmakers fault.

Omg ILGM seeds suck i been growing for 30 years myself i had to buy from a seed bank locally because the UK had a cyber mail attack and my seeds from attitude seed bank were stalled.. i either get mine from attitude seed bank ali bongo seed bank or seedsman and seedsman site was messed up like always so i took a chance with ILGM ordered 20 granddaddy purple autos grew all of them out. all of them shitty as hell one is 3 foot tall 4 are like 12 inches and the rest are 8-10 inches tall all in flower a waste of time and money those are some shitty genetics never again.. since my seeds from attitude seeds showed up today i am about to pull 15 of those ILGM seeds out my tent and start over with fastbud seeds fuck ILGM.

Yeah sounds like your gripe is the same as mine. All over the spectrum phenos. My Mephistos already have more smell at 6 weeks than ANY ILGM plant ive had. They had weak resistance too. The breeders fault is inconsistent genetics. I take responsibility for nute issues but i cant control their phenotype selection. Therefore I purchased F6 beans. No not every seed sucked but with the space limit i have i cant afford to waste any. ILGM just cant or wont match up to better seed banks. Now i know better options. Thanks NASC ladies! Yall did me right!

Hell yeah my problem had nothing to do with germination because all 20 seeds popped even though they were the tiniest things i ever seen and they did come from Cali.. my problem has to do with the shitty phenos how the hell can you grow 20 of the same strain and they all be different sizes and look different oh and i have like 4 mutants one of them the main stem that is supposed to be the main cola wasn't there on the plant a leaf was in its place a big ass thick leaf instead so it had one big leaf in the middle and two little side branches the whole plant is maybe 6-8 inches tall and 40 days old i have 3 more mutant plants i never seen anything so bad in my years of growing lol. i knew in the 2nd week something was wrong and it wasn't my growing everything green and healthy you can't really mess up advanced nutes ph perfect line and i have a blue lab ph pen to test everything even if i did.

Its true. I only had 2 out of 20 didnt pop. They were all tiny but none were the same and several were sickly the whole time under the exact same conditions. Their breeders don't select phenos at all apparently so everytime is like f1 all over again.

their germ rate is a disaster, and nothing changes through time. i tried them about 6 years ago and was totally disappointed. i thought sth has changed but seems it hasn't. let's forget about ilgm all together

I like the exotic look and smell of the Mephistos but the one thats impressed me so far is Fast Buds GSC auto. That gal shot up fast was easy to train. It took alot longer to flower but is a much bigger plant and it has frost already and its still stretching. Yeah, I thought a couple years ago that the 10+10 for $119 from ILGM was a great deal but now I realize its no cheaper than alot of other breeders and I dont need that many beans of the same strain. Im not gonna say that I got zero good weed from ILGM, its just that only a couple phenos checked all the boxes and ive no time for mediocrity anymore when i know of so many good breeders. Germination is the 1 area with their gear that ive not had an issue. But germination is not getting you the flame. Ditchweed germinated just fine too and it sucked. I would grow the GG4 again outside but im not giving my growspace to it. And i aint buyin no more ILGM when those nice little gals at NASC give me better beans faster. And i can use my credit card.

Upon the discovery of your website I thought I had finally found just who I was looking for!! A great selection and price. I m not about to bicker with you over your seeds but I can tell you that the seeds you sent me are complete garbage. I soaked them and soaked them. I put them in propagation and still nothing!! Out of 20 seeds I have 11 that will not pop. I am incredibly disappointed and will be passing my experience along. I suggest you take a look at your suppliers because less than 50% is unacceptable.
I had germination problems with blue dream, but I realized they needed heat, and my seed mat fixed that. Then I found out I have a bird problem.
Also I had under and over moisturized the seedlings...mine are outdoors. I thought their seeds are weaker than they used to be, because they didn't used to need the heat. BUT the weather is super weird...everything blooms in Dec/Jan now that used to bloom in Feb/Mar. Temps are below normal here, when they may have been above normal in the years the seeds performed better. I was going to complain, but after using the heat, I think it isn't ILGM's fault. I had terrible luck with other strains, like Jack Herrer, Gold Leaf, Amnesia Haze, all or mostly because they were not getting warm enough. I do not germinate the way they say to because I don't want to handle the germinated root...I know I'll break it. I start them in small pots.
This is my 6th grow year, and every year the plants are amazing (in spite of many problems: thrips, aphids, whiteflies, white mold, army worms. Good Luck!

Must be hit or miss with them. I've used them a few times and honestly never had an issue. I've done wedding cake and GDP and both were frosty and potent as expected. It sucks things happen like this. I know people bash them and rightfully so if they have bad experiences. Just throwing my own experience out there. Try Greenpoint Seeds or Twenty20 Mendocino, especially Mendo's autos

North Atlantic has alot of really good breeders. I just finished a Mephisto run and although im used to bigger yields, the weed was the flame. The freebie fast buds GSC Auto wasnt the strongest tasting but was frosty AF and very potent. Im running 2 more Mephisto 3 bears OG this time and also some Dutch Passion banana blaze autos that are looking impressive. The ILGM GG4 autos have mostly been good decent smoke. A few turned out really good with a strong lemon pine smell and taste. If I was growing outdoors I wouldn't mind running some more of those. I have a half dozen or so GG beans left and im using them now to fill in gaps in growspace as they do grow fast and have good yields and the good ones are pretty damned good. I have not had a problem with germination from anybody's beans. My only issue with ILGM is that the endless phenos make it tough to keep an even canopy as some plants have literally went almost 6 feet tall with others started at same time topping out at 18 inches. I have to raise those up on platforms to get even light. Outside this wouldnt be an issue. If they would just incorporate a good phenotype selection program then i think theyd get alot better reviews. I hate it for the ones having germination issues. I always use the old paper towel method and only ever have had a few not pop EVER whether it was bagseed or bought beans.

Yep...I do the old reliable 24 hour water soak followed by the paper towel in the ziplock method. Never had a problem with anyone's beans either. At least a 90% germination rate
