ss420's journal #3...

its not the size of the seed.. more whats in the seed.. the smallest seed can make the largest plant as long as the DNA in the seed is from strong large parents... for instance... bagseed (although you can find a gem or two amongst them) by and large has much weaker genetics than most breeder/seed bank seeds.. this is why bagseed grows out (typically) less potent, smaller, and often mutant looking plants... but i think you have the right idea... gotta start out with good seeds to grow a good plant....

BB seeds has a nice selection.. i havent grown any strains personally from them.. so i cant comment first hand.. but on the same note i have never read any complaints about them.. see plenty of grows using them.. so i suspect they are good...

i have personally had the best results with g-13 labs and sagamartha seeds...

The reason i'm going with BB is that a local friend is a trader in them. During this crop will start looking at other suppliers and will probably take your advice on the g13 as all i ever see is good about them.
I must have confused on the tomato thing lol! I meant that you can buy seeds that will grow unbelievably big tomatoes compared to normal tomato seeds, not that the seeds were bigger or anything.

It doesn't look possible to get back there even if you wanted. Mexicans originally thought that the larger the seed the better.,

yeah.. there is no getting back in the flower room.. and i'm going to have a hell of a time even when i first put the big girls into flower...

Looking good SS! Not long for the autos now is it?
I remember a couple of years back me and a friend did a daft wardrobe grow, 1 little desktop fan, nutes not measured and using a prop tray with a bubble stone in and plants suspended above on 4 chopsticks lol!
They were lowryder #2 so never turned the light off and STILL managed an oz off 2 plants!
IMO autos will live through anything.

thanks bro..

if they follow what the actual packs said, they will be done at the end of this month, beginning of next.. i would love to have them ready for my birthday.. but who knows if that'll happen for sure or not..

Hey just to let you know SS. I know i was on about gettin a pack or 2 of Big Buddha seeds but my mate came through for me and i now have 6 grand daddys, 2 L Pursang (think it's lemon pursang, let me know your thoughts) and 2 royal revenge, which i can find no info for anywhere. All clones, well rooted in small soil blocks. Not sure if i feel comfortable posting pics...
Anyway they're all looking very healthy and about 1.5 inch tall. Would i be alright transferring them to my wilma 8 pot, under a 600w, when it arrives? Cheers for any info you can dig up. I've been assured that these came from a connesuir grower so they should be pretty special :)
J.

yeah.. you should be fine transplanting them... just keep the light a couple feet off until they start growing and then move it closer as they grow...

morning samy. well its play time with the girls. give them sum bloom juice. i left 4 in the veg room. im thinking they are male. well see,

hope you dont have any males.. that would be a bummer... thats why i stick with fem'd seeds.. just dont have the space to deal with males...
