Thanks for all the kind words. I have been MIA for a bit, but thought I would post a few pics of what is going on in the flower room right now.

I threw in a couple pk mothers this round. I also put 3 gdp in the mix without any real veg time. The rest vegged for two weeks and the first pics show how the room looked the day before the flip.
The moms were a little low on nitrogen when I moved them to the flower room. They only streched about 6" compared to the rest that stretched more like 24". It shows that when vegged long or short times, they finish at the same heigth. Actually some of the clones are taller than the moms. The buds on the moms have much closer internoded spacing than the rest that had the large stretch. This really gives a good comparison to short and long veg times.

Note: I apologize for the poor pic quality, I just got a new lap top and haven't uploaded a pic editor yet to adjust the brightness.

Currently 27 days into flower

I will be removing all the lower and middle bud sites in the future. I have the best results when I lollipop right before flowering and once again after the stretch. I skipped the second hair cut last round.
Right now I have one tray of 9 pk clones that have vegged for a few weeks, then in the other I have 4 pk clones vegged 3 weeks, 3 gdp clones ( only vegged a week ) and 2 pk moms that are probably 2-1/2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. These have all been lollipopped, but I will clean them up again after the stretch. The moms are a bit nitrogen deficient, so they should grow slower for the next couple weeks. I find that if the moms are too green, the clones root slower. Anway, I had three pk moms and decided to flower a couple of them out.
I will probably skip a journal for this round, but I will still be around.
Thanks for sharing in my growing adventures. lol :peace:bongsmilie:eyesmoke:
Hey Raider just curious you said you lollipop right before flowering how close do you do it? Im going to be flipping my lights in the next few days and wondering if i still have time?

Damn man, that sounds like some serious hybrid seed you have on your hands. I would love to see how that one finishes.

Yea man, I lollipop before the stretch and then at about two weeks i give them another lolli session. I think it is important to trim them up good before they convert their energy toward flowering, they are very vunerable in flower. I do remove a few more branches through week 4, but try to get most of it done at the end of the two week stretch. My last round I left way too much on and the top buds were about half the size as normal and half of the weight was in the middle of the canopy. So now I try and get rid of anything not getting direct light at two weeks. The buds are already fatter this round at 4 weeks than last round to give you a comparision.

Thanks man, I haven't flowered a mother either, but I had some clones that did't root this round and was short, so I through a couple moms in the mix. By the way man, I have a couple PE babies that I was hoping would be ready to clone now, but they are growing slow man. So next round I should have a few PE in the mix anyway. You always make them look so amazing man.

Oh, I went to a vender event this weekend at the local hydro shop and was really impresses witht he cutting edge line. I talked for hours with their bio chemist ( the guy is too fuckin smart). The owner of Royal Gold and the owner of Geo Pots both said that is the line in their reserviors and they bragged on it enough that I took a sample to run a side by side next round. BUT.... I decided not to wait until next round, so tonight (4 weeks into flower) when I changed the reserviors I switched one tray to Cutting Edge. I figure Il should know enough by the end of this round to decide if I want to run it next round. I really learned a lot though, there were about 22 venders their, but I hung out leaching knowledge off of the bio chemist from cutting edge most of the time. I wish I couild remember a fraction of what he told me. This dude doesn't do any advertising, just word of mouth. I can't say enough about the Royal Gold, Cutting Edge, and the Geo Pot folks man. They really are cool people, now we will see how good their adivise is. lol

Here are a few 5 week pictures. I think I am seeing a subtle difference in the two trays after a week. The cutting edge buds may be getting fatter and more dense. hmmm Should be interesting to see if there is a noticable difference in a few more weeks.

Thanks for the comments. I got a little stressed today because the power went out for few hours. Fortunatley, it was lights out time and the humididty stayed uner 60%. That is a scary situation when you can't do anything but wait for the power to kick back on.
