hi every one just thought id put this on here coz iv had constant problems with spider mite, but i have found a way to get rid of them just by accident and here it is febreze mist and refresh apple and spice air freshener havnt tried any other fragrance lol, omg its amazing just a little waft over the plants and the little buggers die plus your room smells great, hasnt damaged my plants or smoke i just spray above them now once a week and voilla no bugs, and the plants have thrived, hope some 1 else tries this and lets me know how they get on plus its cheap cheap cheap and lasts for ages i also think its killed the eggs aswell coz i havnt had any new 1s for ages. good luck every1

it works honest and my garden is greener than ever try it on 1 iv tried everything before to keep on top of them all except the smoke bomb which i darnt use lol,

I have to LoL at this one.

Spider mites are not a mystery. I received some dirty cuts about a month ago, and I sort of neglected to treat them out of laziness. They spread to my vegging plants, and then to my bitches in 12/12. Long story short...I hit everything with 3% JMS stylet oil, and threw in some R-11 spreader and Cutting Edge Solutions Grow at label rates. I sprayed twice, 10 days apart, and now I cant find any mites after 2 weeks. Great coverage is a must (especially the undersides of the leaves...this is crucial). The only real downside is that I cant use wettable sulfur (the only fungicide I use) for 2-3 weeks or the plants will burn up.

Game. Set. Match. Spider mites are my bitch.

I've found that if you have a "sacraficial" plant in the room but not too close, while you're treating the rest, any buggers alive will go to the sacrificial plant within a few days. We used a potted sunflower plant for a sacrifice while we misted (almost constantly wet) our babies with a simple water/dish liquid mix. Within 3 days the sunflower was coated in web and mites, it looked like dirty cotton candy. We then threw the whole thing in the fireplace and have not seen a mite anywhere since.

Im not to sure i want to try the febreeze method, but i fer sure think im going to "sacrifice" a plant. That never even crossed my mind, i think i will give that a try tomorrow, because these little bastards are really starting to piss me off. Lets hope it worls for me as well.

the only thing sacrificed here will be the bugs!!! Earthworm castings tea to rid yourself of spidermites.
oh and plants love it, use it full strength as a foliar and also full strength in your soil/rez.

You know what else works? Ladybugs. You can get them at a nursery for $10 for 1,000 bugs. They eat everything but can't eat your plants because their system can't digest plant material. Works for me!

super suffication!! well what about mites on drying bud?
and i had 2 plants with mites then i harvested them... now one of my other plants is gnarly infested... i think the mites left chose the cheese as my sacrifice plant.
im up for anything tho so ill try the febreese thing and sacrificial plant see how that works.
