Spacedawg pheno search

I had 5 females all showed differet yet shared traits. Some were more compact and shorter and others were whispy and stretchy. All of them are good in the resin category and all smell fantastic. I have smoked reall good c99 a few times so I can really pick it up in the space dawg and that sticks out a little in this cut. Really I felt this cut reprsented traits of all of them in a nice package. Its down fall is the super stretch and long spacing but if you look at the buds from top to bottom they are rock hard and way swollen.
cool. im pleased to have 7 girls to make my pic from. i have my eye on one with longer node spacing and dense buds myself.

I have 2 females out of 5 that I planted, both have fairly wide node spacing as well... I was a little nervous about if they were gonna fill in the spaces but seeing the pics that royalgrade posted now I'm kinda happy about it seeing they look similar..... but the 2 different phenos I have look like they could be clones. The only noticeable way to tell them apart is theres a slight difference in leaf shape/texture(?) but not really...I cant tell which one is #3 and which is #5 unless I look at the tags...

But heres the 2 I got.... these are from 5-6 days ago @ day 18 or so not counting the loss of heat and a couple days without light and 5 days with only T8's so they have been set back a bit but it was at the very beginning of when I flipped them to 12/12, so I'm adding some days to the finish time but so far so good... Those pics royalgrade posted really woke me up a bit to focus back on them a little because my attention has been mainly on the other strains I'm growing...both phenos are just easy compared to the other strains/phenos I'm growing at the moment.... Now I really dont know what to start getting ready for next round, I started 4 clones of a cheese quake pheno and 3 of an ace of spades pheno that was spitting out pink/calyx's bud by day 14 or so... now I'm really stuck as to what to grow...

What kind of finishing times are you guys running into with your phenos?

im at the end of week 7 right now, mine will all go a full 8 weeks at least im sure. they were slow to start flowering, i imagine when i run them again as clones they will finish much more quickly.

the stronger pheno tends to be the ugly pheno and the tight roud clean buds tend to be relaxing. my cut i nick named 'orca' or 'the 11+++ cut'.

i took my first two dawgs at 54 days and it was a mistake. i picked the rest at 61 and 63 and mdae a heck of a difference.
this thursday (6th) will mark flower day 55, at which point i plant to start checking trichs. i have no problem letting them go as long as they need. at this point in the grow, 6 of the 7 plants look good enough to grow again. the 1 "bunk" pheno is real stretchy and has very little trich developement and does not smell like much of anything but the rest are very pretty and the whole tent smells sweet.

Posted this elsewhere then found this thread.

Two weeks or so prior to chop. Three phenos in 10 pack (lemon leaning lower yield, skittles candy smell and taste & Sour skunky) and this monster. Sour skunk in smell from the first set of leaves as a seedling. Grew twice as fast as the others. Plant in picture was transplanted as rooted 4-branch 2-gal. clone on July 3.

On the 7/13 i germinated 5 spacedawg 7/17 they had all sprouted 100% germination, i also poped a purple trainwreck that my friend gave me but it didnt look good at all so i ended up tossing it.
My medium that i was and still am using is roots organic soil thats all i use during the veg state unless i see the plant to gas out but they really dont because i grow in 5 gallon pots as well as smart pots.

During the first week in veg the where all uniform and had same leaf patterns, they where very healthy and growing rapidly exept for my #2 witch wasnt that behind but u could tell it was just alittle.

at this point i was getting ready to top they had about 4 nodes already and they had nice sturdy stems, i decided to try mainling for the first time. (i would say it was a pretty bad attemp but im working on it)
View attachment 2443618View attachment 2443619View attachment 2443620View attachment 2443621View attachment 2443622

the mainling started of well as u can see bouth nodes where growing all evenly will all my babies, the plants did slow down alot by mainlinng almost evry time i try to develope my manifold more it would always add on an extra week for it to recover witch i didnt like to much but i cant judge till i see the end product yet. on the plus side i did notice that my stocks did get nice and thick. always a great sing.

after about two months in veg and then finally flipped them on 9/7 i ended up with 3 females and two males wich imo thats a perfect ratio especially out of a 5 pack, anyway thise is when i didnt really take controll of my manifold to much and i let some heads get bigger than the other, it got so bad with my number two pheno that i had to pinch and bend my to main tops, like i said it was my error i didnt saty on top of it like i should of.
The Spacedawg was a pleasure to grow it really dosnt like nutes at all just go easy on it especially in the 4 and 5 week it seems to me that it didnt want any nutes reaLLY. it really is a easy plant to growthe smell is a nice funky chem smell with some fruitness in ther all phenos i had, had a very strong chem smell but the undertone scent seemd to be diffrent one was like berrys witch was my #3 and i had a chem and lemony kinda that was #1 but the best one was my #2 wutch was just a stinker of chem and skunk i loved the res it packed on was increadibly, although they all produce a ton resin and reall sticky to even when dry the tricomes will stick to u kinda like gum lol
all 3 of my phenos enden up being diffrent one was a sativa dom#2 one was a equal hybrid welll to me it seemed #1 and my #3 witch was more on the indica side. (ps. i did take clones)

i flushed my plants for about 3 weeks man the smell was increadible a funky chem smell with berrys u will need a filter for this strain, i will say its not much of a yielder but that could be due to my error with the mailing thing but the buds came out so dank.

the smell once harvested was even better the chem smelled turned into a candy chem if that makes sence

my harvested buds are still curing so icant yet speak to how they all smoke but they smell pretty good and while they all look good, 2 of my 7 females have a shit load of tichs all over them. oi would say the yield is middle of the road, or medium like the description on the tga website gives. the ice water hash this strain makes is killer, its got a mellow funky lemony smell and is extremely calming and relaxing without making me fall asleep. i will put up some dried bud shots real soon here, and plan to start sampling the flowers in the next couple days.

Heres some pics of my spacedawgs at day 43 I believe...

This is SD3 which hermed on me but I top dressed either right when I flipped or right before, I cant remember... either way I probably should have waited a bit longer but I figured they'd definitely run out of food before they finished...

Here is SD#5 which is looking pretty decent so far and has some blueberry undertone smells aside from just smelling dank... but I cant wait to try this one myself.. Both would have done much better with more veg time and better pruning but I'm happy so far.. We have a few more weeks to go I hope this one makes it through I really wanted a pheno to keep of this strain... Also after this pick I through some trellis netting on to try and support some of those smaller buds in the middle in hopes of her fattening up some more....

welp, now that all is said and done 2 of 7 spacedawg females will get a second run in my garden. i chose a 50/50 pheno and a snodawg dom pheno. both of them are nighttime only meds in my home, this stuff does have a solid kick and a great lemon funk smell. here are a couple shots of the dried buds from my keepers.

I'm running Space Dawg for the first time right now. They're twelve days into flower and 83% of them ended up being female. That has to be the best female percentage that I've ever gotten since I started growing. So far so good...
