Sore As Fuck

Well it has been 4 months since I have done any work at all besides house work LOL...Yesterday I decided to get off my ass and do some actual physical work. My wife does accounting in a metal manufacturing company and the plant manager needed a hand with a project so I volunteered myself. Well for pay of course.....I'm fuckin sore this morning though so might be poppin some advil just to get my sorry ass back in there this morning.......Committed to 2 weeks or until the project is done so hopefully it doesn't take that long since I quoted a lump sum for this based on the 2 weeks....Must admit it was kinda nice having my wife bring me coffee in front of the rest of the plant workers...She does their pay cheques so they all hold a lot of respect for her.

Stretching your muscles as best you can before going to bed will help a little with the soreness.

Ummm excuse me? I don't mean to be rude, but c'mon.

I'm in chronic pain, take oxycodone, 4x advil three times per day, methadone, do yoga, and smoke pot just to be able to move enough to grow my own.

I'm happy you got enough money to buy a new sack of week, but c'mon... complaining over having to take one Advil for pain?

Buck up, partner. Life is hard and it is painful. That is just the way life is. Enjoy your "sack"

Wow, you guys are reactionary and assumed tones that I cannot find in my post.

I was up in the middle of the night due to extreme pain and though it hilarious that any human would complain that their pain was "soooo sever that they had to take an Advil." Even typing this, it makes me smile and get a chuckle.

I didn't mean to complain, I was just giving the OP some perspective.... One single Advil?

I truly didn't mean to offend; again, I was just trying to put this into perspective for the OP. I deal with chronic pain patients every day, some of them fatal, and I never hear them complain... They often show pride when they do something regardless of their pain, but rarely do they look for sympathy. This is my experience with those truly in pain.

I guess it is all a perspective thing. I do honestly believe that life is hard and painful, but if we don't "buck up" from whatever pains us, we will not find our center nor our perspective to overcome those adversities. Pity is good, but I didn't think the OP was looking for that, maybe I was wrong.

I feel for the guy and I'm glad he's going to be able to celebrate with his intoxicant of choice. If you want to bitch about your aches and pains then start your own thread. Don't shit on his.

He wasn't complaining about being sore from work. He was stating his lack of physical activities made him sore as hell. Seems like you're doing the complaining. Or want sympathy.

Wasn't looking for sympathy just tokin and talkin.......Apology accepted And thanks for the advice I bucked up at 2:30am with unbelievable knee pain popped 3 extra strength advils smoked several bowls and had a nice long soak in a hot tub with lots of Epsom Salts before being at work for 7:30am
