i guess I can see the idea behind having a big dog helps keep your shit safe, but in all honesty, I'm not afraid of dogs. I don't rip peoples crops and never have, but a dog would not deture me if I was going to. Donut covered in anti-freeze. Dog is done. Yea, I know. It's sick, but having a big dog isn't going to stop everyone, and if you really love your pet, I wouldn't put him/her between a thief and my crop.

I totally got ripped last year, I boosted up my parimiter fence another 2 feet, put the dogs in the back yard and only problems I have this year is those little green damn caterpillar looking things. they took most of all of my little one and over half of my big one (the thieves) and they came back a few nights later (I know this cause the dogs were ready to go through the fence), but the rest of last year turned out successful DOGS ARE THE TRICK everybody that grows should have at least 2 in the growing area. bongsmilie

My dog would kill you or you kill him either way its not gonna be quite and I now know someones in my shit if im not home well you will be in the hospital with deep cuts on your person and easy to find if need be.

Big dog bites you your going one place and thats not to clip my weed its to get yourself stitched up before you bleed out. Big dogs are your best friend and they are not bad around children like msnbc or other news stations tell you poodles send more kids to the hospitals.

stays relevant.
If you're legal, call the police. I am sure that they would be very concerned that you had been robbed and medication could potentially be hitting the streets and going to people it wasn't intended for.

It varies from state to state, but i will use the California statutes as a guide. Anything underlined and in italics is my comment.

Vandalism can be charged as a Misdemeanor or a Felony
The crime of vandalism can be charged as a misdemeanor or as a felony depending upon the circumstances related to the offense. Accordingly, vandalism is a "wobbler." The decision whether or not to charge vandalism as a felony or misdemeanor is up to the prosecutor. Oftentimes, there are aggravating or mitigating factors that make the prosecutor's decision an easy one (when it comes to light that weed growing was the initial catalyst, there will be no mercy on you). Sometimes, vandalism is simply juvenile mischief, a byproduct of an argument, or simple indifference. In these cases, it is more likely that it would be charged as a misdemeanor.
Other times the vandalism is much more aggravated and the result of the larger problems such as a graffiti or tagging crew, a gang, or a history of violence between parties. Additionally, the prosecutor may elect to charge vandalism is a Felony when the amount of the items damaged exceeds $400.
Expected penalties for Misdemeanor vandalism
Vandalism charges for the first occurrence with a minimal amount of damage (less than $400) is usually charged as a misdemeanor, the consequences of which are generally:

  • No jail time, but possible community service or CalTrans service
  • Fines
  • Restitution
  • Community service
  • 3 years of probation (informal)
In addition, you may lose your California driver's license for up to one year from the date of the conviction.
Felony
If damages equal or exceed $400 and the defendant has one or more convictions for vandalism, then the prosecutor could elect to charge you with felony vandalism, the consequences of which are generally:

  • Jail time
  • Formal probation
  • Restitution
  • Community service
  • Loss of a California driver's license
Fines for vandalism charges can be very expensive. In addition, the court will order restitution in the amount that it takes to make the victim whole. At the Law Office of Keith J. Bruno, we defend juveniles and adults accused of vandalism. Mr. Bruno has defended countless vandalism cases as a public defender and as a private lawyer.
In the case of juveniles, vandalism is often an unfortunate rite of passage that manifests itself in graffiti or the destruction of abandoned property. Mr. Bruno understands this, but also understands that the penalties for vandalism and the manner in which courts treat juveniles today is disproportionately harsh. Accordingly, the best defense is needed.
In the case of adults, vandalism is rarely graffiti; it is more frequently the destruction of property-most times their own that they share with a roommate or spouse. Again, Mr. Bruno understands this and will work hard to keep one's private life private. Often, it is simply not of the government's business and should be resolved within the family or community. However, due to the stiff penalties, a vigorous defense is necessary.
If you have been accused of vandalism, malicious mischief, or the destruction of property, contact The Law Office of Keith J. Bruno. We offer a free face-to-face consultation and can work out a payment plan in most situations.

doitinthewoods, damn good point, I had never thought of donuts and antifreeze, I have seen small amounts of antifreeze on the ground kill a dog in less than 24 hours. and to sacrifice your dog for a plant that really anybody with water can grow is crazy.......guess I might rethink some stuff before next year

Then they retaliate agian you see how this works? You think it ends there but it doesnt he/she will have to move if they retaliate because now everything they own is at risk and everyone they know not just the plants in the back yard.

These people are not scared of you they robbed you and will do it agian if you tempt them it might be your house.

I know it might seem hard for some of you to grasp but violence never solves anything EVER it creates more violence and swindling. They will be back everyyear if you retaliate I can promise you that its common sence.

Fall off the map and tell everyone that knew you where growing that you stopped and are never doing it agian because of the lose. Then start over and tell NOBODY.
