I have tried to make a few bongs, but thats a lot of weight to spin by hand by the time they get to more than 16-20" long............ Its just that your piece is used, not really pretty, not really special, just kinda plain. I'm of the opinion that a glass bong used isnt worth the same as a new one from the store, unless it has some work and detail to it at least...... That's why I'd toss the guy $50 or maybe even $75 if your feeling "why-not-ish"........ Just my $0.02, do what makes ya happy!!

I don't know if this water pipe ever was purchased, but to me it's not worth it because I've been at parties where those tree percs have exploded. There are these "open ended" (if I'm not mistaken about the name) tree percs floating around now that are supposed to have less drag and be easier to clean.

Amen to that, like stated, I've seen the colored ones explode from what I could tell was resin build up and what not.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Also is it - American (Clear) & Chinese (Colored)?
