Seeing as the quality of even iso hash oil is higher than bho (jmo), I don't even understand why anyone fucks with butane.. diet hash, imo. On top of that, butane residue in your hash?? Ahhell no.
oK, the reason why is because it is a way to make hash and HASH IS GOOD!!.

I like sand (dry sieved) or iso lately.. pre-pressed sand being my all time fave.. it's like caffeine..

I'm still a shatter man....til the day the butane kills me dead...lol
However..I have taken a liking to FULL MEEELLLLtttt on top of gently broken up nuggets filled with resin glands..
The bowl lasts through the night, and into the wee hours of the morning, when I wake up in the middle of the night.
I got a harvest coming down soon, gonna try some dry sift; found a dry sieve box made by Essential Extracts for 70$.. Got a feeling I could do a dyi much cheaper though.
Efff MAKING bubble hash, I can buy it for much cheaper and much less work..lol
Sooooo, lots o'errrllz and some dry sift, and some very select flowers.

how do you know there is butane residue in your hash??? did you read that somewhere..... like fade said have it tested
you sound like another ignorant fuck that is on the BHO is bad band wagon because people are using butane....

But on a true solventless note I remember a guy name marzfish asking about boiling off thc in a vac and reclaiming it and I said it would jam the condenser. I swear I swear i herd fade dawg say on a radio show that someone was doing it and using ethanol to clear the condenser. I had Dab memory loss, I might really try it if i knew the result wouldn't yield slime.

I am much more concerned about the residual pesticides, molds, and other pathogens than the small quantity of butane left in. Butane is one of the safest and most non-polar chemicals known to exist. I filter my BHO with syringe filters to guarantee a clean extract. Dry ice sift and kief is around 30-50% plant matter and the additional contaminants make it not usable with a dabbing bong.
