Solid options for pre-fab led that wont break the bank

Mars hydro/apollo or cheap shit wont be considered. Post info of actual parts specifications. Price. Picture of units. I wanna see whats out there othere then what ive already considered or used.. I work full time so making my own is out of the question. Barely have time to run gardens. Thank you

Are they using mostly white light for these? I don't usually try to eyeball SPD charts, but the Physiospec Indoor looks exactly like a 4000K 80 CRI led with 660nm added. Not that there's anything remotely wrong with that. Bit of a change from the BML days.

VYPRxs are sexy.

All I can say is that my Cree CXB3590 COB LED based modules have been outperforming my expectations since I got them.

1. They run cool
2. Plants say; Best. Light. Indoors. Ever.
3. Quality is better
4. Easier to grow under
5. Efficiency is icing on the cake

If you're doing 20-25 sq ft, I'd suggest a Johnson Grow Lights Maximizer.

Tasty LED makes great modular style COB LED fixtures.

Northern Grow Lights is another top quality builder.

Pacific Light Concepts is also on this list, as are Timber and several others.

All these options use top bin chips, have a well deserved reputation for quality and advertise right here on RIU, cuz they're made BY us, FOR us.

I'm absolutely sold on Cree CXB3590 chips and their broad spectrum ability to make plants jump outta da dirt! My plants are doing things under this lighting that I've simply never seen plants do indoors before.

Nothing else has ever measured up for me. Certainly nothing blurple.

Does anyone mix it up? By that I mean run multiple types of lights? I run MH, HPS, CFL(lizard lights) & cheap LED panels together in my tent with good results. Quality is outstanding but more yield would be nice. Maybe a COB or two would bulk em up???

I think the consensus is - if you want more BULK add more hps wattage

I tried mixing HPS and 860W CDM Allstart lamps and the plants HATED it; they grew away from the HPS every chance they got.

Problems with mixing COB LED and HID will include even distribution of lighting in terms of intensity and spectrum.

It sounds attractive, but from my own experience I'd have you ask yourself why you'd want to mix substandard lighting sources with the good stuff?

The most efficient lighting I've ever used also emits the best spectrum I've ever used and it's producing the biggest plants I've ever grown.

I just don't see this as any kind of coincidence.

Lack of funds mostly. All of my stuff is super cheap but works well together. It's not like I originally designed it this way. Everything was purchased over several years. I can't afford an array of COBs, but I can probably afford one or two.
It sounds like I might be better off sparking another 400w MH, bringing total HID up to 1,400 watts.

you will need 180+ cbx3590's to cover that. x10 for a total of 1800 cobs. this cant be right. can it?
