Solar Rips: who else loves em?!

yeah been too cloudy to do this lately . one day one day.... I got my magnifying glass somewhere.

wow so much for what I said before it's totally SUNNY all of a sudden. gonna go solar rip some chitowns sour kush right now out of the zong!

I hate that all I ever see you smoking is chitowns Sour Kush. Because it means its amazing and I don't have any....

if it makes you feel better I only smoke it once or twice a day... I try to mix other strains in such as blue headband, sweet god, ak47, bubblegum x thc bomb, and northern lights.

I just bought a new bong and this thread reminded me of them but its way to cloudy for it today.

I smoked a bowl yesterday with a magnifying glass. It works really well and there's no taste from the lighter.

yep it's especiallly fun if you can use a bong too.

what magnification would u recomend i got some like 4x would that work?? or is it the diameter of the magnifine glass that matters

I used a 5" glass and it worked perfect.

dunno whats really the most ideal, I have a little 4 inch one and it works perfectly, I'm sure a thicker one would work better maybe?

a clear condom is a great fire starter.................fun to do when showing off to stoners..........

serious........fill with water.....about a double fist full........squeeze to get proper focus.....bright sun.....................same with bottle of water...........get the focus and it will start a fire. this old man knows tricks lOL

those solar rips taste AMAZING.... like someone said before u dont notice how much that butane/lighter ruins the taste........ i used this small ass like 2" wide magnifine glass and worked nice had some trouble..... then later on tried this slightly bigger but less magnification and it worked alot better....... i am assuming the wider the lens the better because it can catch and focus more light into the bowl.... it might not magnify as good as a thicker or more concaved one but it still focuses the light exactly the same as all thickness and power of magnifications...... so im saying the wider the lens the better/easier it is..... im no expert but thats how i see it.....

anyone light a joint or blunt this way???

not only lit joints but cigs when out camping when I smoked cigs that is............it was kinda popular there for a bit in my area to carry a mag glass to light cigs and joints...........around 75 or so..........Radio Shack had com eout with a solar lighter back around that time......look like a shinny cowboy belt buckle wiht a pole i center and you set cig there and it was pre foccased and you lit sig or joint........fuckkkkkkk shoulnt be typen

Thats awesome!! I gotta get one for fishing... I mentioned sumin yesterday about needing a torch lighter, i think ill get a mag glass instead..

I'd get both honestly...good torch lighters are a must have...same with the magnifying glass...
