No, it's not like a vaporizer, but it does give you a pinpoint torch which

1.) has no contaminants (butane or wood, cardboard, sulphur )

2.) It gives you total control of the bowl ,and by having a tight stream of combustion makes the weed last longer (more efficient)

I'd say it is in between a vap and matches...it's a step UP!!

dude seriously it combusts unless you were to keep it non concentrated ....if ther is smoke ther is combustion period

im a science major i know these things

non concentrated meaning if you were to somehow keep temps around only 3 or 4 hundred degrees then it would only vaporize it ...but if you get flame u have combustion ...hence flame ...hence not vaporization

yea its really a fine line cause it does vaporize it first ..... but when you vaporize with a vaporizer set at proper temp it doesnt get so hot to cherry ....]

I'm not saying it isn't combustion...c'mon now. It merely keeps the combustion in a very tight place on the weed compared to a match or a lighter. It gives you pinpoint precision on the material compared to other types of fire.

I seem to have lost the ability to solar rip, the last two times I havent been able to get the bowl lit with it in my mouth. I think I need a bigger bong.

Are you able to do it with a pipe? Whenever im doing it with my bubbler/pipe i cant get the sun concentrated cause i cant really see the magnifying glass.

I can do it with any piece whatsoever.

I don't even need to see it, I kind of imagine in my head where it's at and I'm usually right. you just have to get the hang of the angle and stick to it.

I've got an old pair of binoculars around here somewhere...

I wonder if I can get a power beam going?
