im sure you already know this....but spray/mist the plants right before lights out so they dont burn the plant

hmm... i don't, can you please elaborate on the burning part
i was going to add to the res with the nuts soup, 15mm per gallon
whats the best way to apply this?

yea just add it to the nute soup.....thas what i do

i HATE foilar feeding because it can raise humidity and it can burn the plants from the water being on the plant being under HID. its almost like the water spot/drip/drop it acts as a magnifier of the HID. did that sound right?

totally makes sense,
why who'd you spray anything on the plant during light cycle
do you mix at 15mm per gallon ratio?
when should i stop/decrease the program?

i think ill add 200mm per 15 gallon
that should save another full res feed
running their recommended amount will end up wasting a round
225 x 4 = 950
200 x 4 = 800 = another res fill up

yes, i mix @ 15mL per gallon ratio to develop a nice juicy root system

then 1.9-2mL per gallon there after

so say you hit them with rhizotonic HARD 15mL per gallon for a whole week or maybe 2.... then decrease it down to the 1.9-2mL

you will definitely see a difference. also turning your pumps on 24/7 might not hurt either (just for a short period to get those roots going) you are going to want at least a decent root system to give you a nice yield

btw, sometimes when im low and dont have enough...ill play with the ratios a bit

in my logic.... at least they are still getting SOME.

some is better than none in my opinion, ya dig

p.s. how did u like the smell of that rhizo ? it reminds me of dead rotting seals a little bit... goodtimes.
All the other canna products smell really sweet and good by the way.

you can do this in theory, will it be useful; depends on your environment
what are you looking to cool with this setup

to cool air either going into the lights or leaving the lights or both? for a sealed co2 enriched room...
do you think i could use ice box's intead of a/c this time? -the a/c plowed threw my co2.

its gunna be 4-6 lights in a 10 x 10 or so... do i need 2 chillers/rez? ...if i do have to use 2, will it end up using just as energy as my old 13,000 btu portable air conditioner?

if u have any answers great if not than i can do my own research.

thx.

ill try to help as much as i can,
you will still need to research to custom fit your environment
a 13k or even a 14k btu AC will not handle the cfm needed to move hot air out of 4-6 lights!
I'm not sure what wattage your running, factor 3500 btu heat from each 1000w
not only cold air btu's factors, its how much of it can you push and how fast
factor each light needs about 250 cfm to move air
multiply by how many lights you have
a portable AC has at the most 250 cfm for himself to circulate the air

btw: are your referring to hydro innovations icebox; or my CoolBox?
these are two different animals

my bad, i guess i was talking about the icebox, but if possible i will use your coolbox instead to show my support.

i should have mentioned that when i just ran the a/c i DID have a sealed off inclosed lighting system with a 8" vortex, that helped keep the lights cool... i had 5 x 1000watt lights.
but im setting up another room with similar specs and thats where i would give another shot at the sealed co2 room with the coolbox's... if its possible.

jberry, if you scroll back a few pages...or look in SoG album's

LionsRoor found a SICK ass thread with pictures which sounds familiar to what you want

with only one CoolBox + 1.5hp chiller & 50-100g reservoir
you will be able to run up to 18k-20k heat btu before you need an AC support
integration of my CoolBox is very simple into an existing system
and even simpler for a new setup

my CoolBox was day viewed in the recent hydroponic show in SF
and will likely to appear in the near maximum yield mag

nice!!
think i'll be able to get one in the next few months? are you saying that the coolbox works better than the icebox?
i was at the hydro expo in s.f. but missed the coolbox display.

it was displayed as soon as you got in,
one of the first booth was Better Grow Hydro's, you couldn't miss it
had few unit displayed, one 8" and a double stacked 12"
with all the different size duct flanges to integrate into any environment
