So, the cops raped my liberty today.

California has no Terry Laws (stop and identify). As we all know cops are allowed to lie, but we don't have to give in to such lies. But what about threats? Are they allowed to threaten you bodily harm for refusing to show an ID?

I have a form of autism, more specifically Asperger's Syndrome. I have long hair that goes well beyond the middle of my back. Beaches have lots of sun which causes me to burn easily. So yeah, I probably looked like a freak with jeans on and a button up shirt.

Today was a family day at the beach. My wife said I should take my son, who has moderate autism, and show him the water on the pier. We saw a pelican and he went crazy and thought it was going to attack him.

On the way back I talked with this guy about his mirror lens. I've never seen one before, but I know about them. He was taking close ups of the moon. My son thought it was interesting and was saying, "what's that! Moon!"

All of a sudden this cop says, "you like cameras?"

Me, "Yeah, I have one of my own, but I left it at home. Now I regret it. I've never seen a mirror lens before."

Then I get blind sided with some do gooder called the cops on me. What am I supposed to do? My son has autism, should I just leave him home? Kids with that disorder won't always act calm, and at times act like the world is coming to an end. It probably didn't help he was calling out mama either.

All I got from the cop was how my son had no shirt and looked cold. But, even if he was in winter clothes, he still acts that way. Also, there were tons of other kids the same age, height, weight, who were shirtless and crying on the beach for mama too! Which I even pointed out to the cop later on, but their response was, "well, those people didn't have the cops called on them, now did they?" Yeah, fuck you asshole pig! :finger:

I only give my name, and cop goes on this tirade. To which my response is, "uh huh," works for Obama right? Doesn't work too well if you're an Aspie.

Finally I'm getting tired of this shit and say am I free to go. At this point the cop asks for an ID. I tell the cop,no and if I'm free to go, again, or am I under arrest. This is one stubborn cop and tells me, "I'll follow you to your wife." I again tell her, "no, I'm not letting you follow me, stop harassing me. Either arrest me, or leave me be!"

The cop is getting very pissed. I don't care. So I start to walk away and the cop tells me to stop being belligerent or I'm going to get wrestled to the ground, still not saying I'm under arrest. I again ask if I'm under arrest. Otherwise I'm free to go, and I don't have time for this, and I walk off without even looking back carrying my son.

Some land of the free, with liberty and justice for all!

Oh yeah, fuck the police! :finger:
cheers!

I respect cops. Have a few in my family. Like every profession you have bad apples. I let a man/women show me who they are first before I place them in a box ( or not). If someone stole your car, broke into your house, or kidnapped your child who would you call to help ?

I think Canna did not handle the situation well. It might be because of hunger due to lack of food stamps, in which he was denied.

Who can forget this gem? https://www.rollitup.org/politics/717396-its-done-deal-now-4.html#post9576337

Hey, some people need to die. Not my fault their genetics* are so fucked up they need to be wiped from the Earth before they can procreate. I'm not some pansy pacifist. But I'm not a warmonger or baby killer either. Neither am I for the state committing genocide on the people for political reasons, which is the only reason the death penalty exists.

I respect all life. From plants to animals to insects to even humans. Why do you think I'm a vegan? Chicken is tasty, but it's not so tasty I'd kill for it. I'd rather watch that chicken walk around free and alive. Although there's too many humans who have such asshole douchey ideas, it makes me wish I wasn't such nice guy. There's so much I wish I could do to liberal cunts, but then I'd be no better than them if I went through with fantasies.

Why didn't you act like a man and put her in her place? She is a servant. Punch her in her face. If she draws her gun, take it from her and kill her.
Yeah, go ahead. Tell us all the times you have punched a woman in her face.

How did that make you feel? Really Big Man, huh? The women I hang out with and the one I married will kill you in the night, first chance, for doing that.

So weak men and silly women is all you are talking about.

This is about the most moronic post regarding law enforcement that I've ever seen.

First off, a Terry Stop has nothing to do with state law or identifying you. Terry Stops are federally mandated and have to do with an officer having reason to believe you're carrying a weapon.

Secondly, if you really had a diagnosed disability, it would be listed on your license. Showing the officer your license would have immediately put her at ease and nothing would have ever happened.

Thirdly, if you refuse to show an officer ID, they can detain you indefinitely until such time as your ID is established.

Fourthly, you DO NOT have a right to walk away from an officer while they are questioning you. If you do, they are well within their rights to use whatever force necessary to detain you and in that event you WILL be arrested.

You acted like a complete asshole for no reason at all. Somebody saw you do something that gave them enough concern to call the police. Rather than simply show an ID, explain what was going on and be on your way, you decided to act like an asshole, deny and defy to the best of your ability, and then have the nerve to look surprised when things didn't work out your way.

Next time, don't be an asshole. Simply show your ID, explain the situation, and the cop will say, "Sorry to bother you, you have a nice day." and that will be it.

Another UPS thread, cos it delivers.

Can't believe the drama has been going here for 5+ years...

Some dude that doesn't even exist anymore got the cops called on him with his own kid cos they thought he was a pedo...

Amazing.
Look on the bright side. We don't have to hear every detail of Schuylaar's wonderful encounter with voting for the first time.

But I saw her urge somebody to vote once, so if the midterms end up going pretty well, she will be nicely positioned to take all the credit.
