So many LED choices

How many plants is he running im using four sf1000s check full grow.3 over 2 plants and 1 over the exodus
Can't say but in the end I think the goal is to light a 4x4 space. Being in Canada he has a 4 plant limit so I would think that will be the max. He has 200 watts of light now, the ultimate goal is to get as close to the 35 watts per square foot min you want with LED so another SF2000 won't do it. Even a second 2000 and 1000 would only add 300 watts compared to the 360 watts added by the receommeded HLG and in that case the HLG would actually end up cheaper than 2 SF lights which would give less watts. Not putting down any lights, just going by the numbers.

Honestly I don't have one issue with SF lights. I saw your testing and it looks like it is going well. I just think he could use a bit more power out of the gate and if you can buy more powerful now it will save some upgrading later. But as I say, I really don't have any negativity towards the SF lights, they seem to be well built and do the job.
I definitely do not have an issue with SF. I just want to upgrade because I know better is out there, and I have the capability. I'm open and free to all suggestions, the more advice I pull from different brains that have either learnt or experienced already, the better I can be out of the gates!

I ordered 26 L09 strips last night, $98 cad shipped, have you ever checked out some local Canadian online stores? Like growlights. ca has some house brand fusion, T tek hydro makes racks, T&T hydro out of Edmonton sells them, email for a better price then what’s online usually. If you were brave or I had more time, I would send ya some strips to build. I’m still missing some 3k strips. Otherwise, what everyone else said, I just know shipping sucks and that first place i mentioned is free shipping. I like to keep my shipping within Canada, and I just heard ISC Chicago is shut down for covid, that’s a big hub coming up the east for CP and others. Arrow usually ships fed ex.

What’s up with the wife hps ban? Why not use some of that wasted energy and heat the house. I’m more scared of fire from led then a hid. I have used hps for quite awhile and have never had any problems.

That would be 4. Canada only legalized 4 but
I started with 1 to see if I could actually pull it off- Funny enough I killed a cactus? Yet I managed to water, feed and guide a weed plant to finish with some decent smoke my first try

Correct sir.
My goal is biggest bang for my buck while not sucking the life out of my hydro meter and paying the man!

I have yes but all the DIY stuff freaks me out. I'm not good with that kind of stuff.
I'm the kind of guy who stomps Ikea shit into oblivion, then set it on fire because the instructions rake coals over remaining brain cells.
Then I rip another bong toke
As for the HPS.. no experience myself, I do like LED now and I said before, and I'll say it till I die - happy spouse happy house.

Yes sir, she knows where you sleep and has access to your tooth brush. Not the person to piss off
