So many LED choices

So I'm on the hunt for another light.
I'm currently in a 4x4 with a Spider Farmer S2000. Very happy with the performance, but time to upgrade-add. I have about 500$ Canadian I can drop.
I have never done HPS and the wife won't allow it, so LED is the only way to go.
I grow in my basement in Southern Ontario, so we get nice and cold all winter. Happy for any input bongsmilie :bigjoint:

It's a little over budget, but I'd add one of these in there. You can ask them for a code. I think @Doug Dawson talked to Mandie, but I'm not sure.

I like. Is it easy to build? I'm not an idiot but electrical and wiring is not my forte at alI. I budgeted 500$ I can expand a little, work decided to kick us a 700$ bonus covid check; doesn't even include my Xmas bonus yet lol.

I'm too fearful of doing it on my own honestly; I know nothing at all about electricity and wiring and I'd really like to not burn my house down lol
I hear you there. I thought the same thing until I built one. Much easier then expected. Sadly, since you are in another country, allow a little time for a fellow Canadian to help better.

Why not just double up on your current choices ?
Seems to answer the issue.

As far as that goes, from what I've gleaned from my research and reading there are far better LED, even though I like what I'm seeing. I'm trying to understand all the different PAR and Lumol ratings, along with true wattage, and keep everything straight, but just like an improvement on my light, I know someone smarter is out there with the knowledge

Spider Farmer can be daisy chained ( if you have current model ) so upscaling is built in. I run HLG and am testing a spider for spider farmer ( they offered SF1000 ) and am running 4 plants under that little board. Kind of like the damn thing.

HLG has many board kits and products.
HLG 225 ( CMH equiv ) is a tank of a light too.
