So I love all the gardens, what about the dogs that guard them?

i was tearing the other day while holding my dog, because she's getting old and i know her time is coming.. i moved out a month ago and saw her after not seeing her for a week and was just amazing.

the reason i stop buying dogs...i wish that dogs could live longer than cats. lol!!! sorry cat lovers. the bigger breed your dog the shorter they live...and i was planning to get an old english and giant schanuzer i guess i wont anymore

I just read an article about 30 minutes ago about dog attacks in the UK(small girl had just been attacked by two pitt breeds) and they state ""The message is clear - if your animal bites a person and there's a significant injury the animal will be destroyed. So if you love your pet, keep them under control."

Seems to be fairly good advice. Personally, i don't think ANY dog is 100% safe, anyone and anything that has been trained well, still has every ability of going and getting fucked up, as is nearly always proven.

I have a german shepherd they are imo definitely more likely to bite an unknown person than a pit. He does not like people who aren't a part of the pack.

i agree with that...you cant be 100% about anything when it comes to an animal!!

Same goes for us human animals too. :)

Big Hugz to ALL our dogs!!!!! I can not imagine my life without them. Some of my best friends have been dogs. Loyal, trustworthy, and awesome companions.

So much for all these soft as shit pitbulls then.
he said if he told it too, and that dog is a lab anyways.... you think cops dogs wont kill you if they told were told too?

why are you just tripping on pits? there are lots of big dogs that can kill people, like huskies and wolf breeds and anything big, it's just because there are SO many pits out there owned by shitty people and have been beat most there life. I have never met any dog that was trained and loved and is a bad dog...

that's true, shepards are gnarly! so are tons of other breeds. just there isn't a lot of gangsters/tweakers/meth heads walking around with sheps and huskies and pinschers or else there would be more problems than with pits!

When I was growing up as a kid my mom and dad always told me that when I go out into public that I was a direct reflection upon them and the way they raised me. So if I'm going out into public and acting like a complete fool than that just tells other people about my upbringing and how I was raised. The same thing goes for the animals we raise.

I don't own a pit bull but I don't judge them either, I judge there owners. Owners are responsible for their dogs just like they're responsible for their children.

I've been wanting to unsubscribe to this thread for some time now because of all the negativity but for some reason I just haven't done it yet. It's supposed to be about the dogs we love and the gardens they protect from thieves in the night. So I started to do a little research and there is a lot of info to be found. Just Google dog attacks by breed.

Now here are some facts for you courtesy of the internet. In several studies I looked over, Pit Bulls are still at the top of all the lists out there but there are many other breeds right up there with them.

Here is the best example I could find to post here but there are many many more if you decide to Google it for yourself.

pit bull is also a breed that when bred with other dogs even if there is only a quarter pit they are gonna list it as a pit bull if it attacks someone.. a lot of reported pit bull attacks are various cross breeds that people confuse for pit bulls.

Here is my boy. He is 50% Amstaff 25% Bluenose 25% Rednose. His size is of Amstaff but his look is of Rednose. He is 101 pounds. This pick does him no justice.
