Snapped stem on new clone.

I was given 3 clones yesterday to add to my collection of seedlings. The clones have started to root and aren't in a dome any longer. I just went to check on the plants a few minutes ago and the one clone was kinda leaning over and when I tried to lean the plant more upright, I head a "snap" sound. Upon inspection, I snapped the clone stem 3/4 of the way through on the main part of the stem below all the leaves. It is still connected but only barely. I briefly thought I would try to tape it but instead I just put it back where it was. It's sitting in a manner that it isn't blowing around and the 2 broken parts are sitting together as though it hadn't snapped.... Is this a goner? Or is there a chance the plant may repair itself?? Like I said, these were just given to me so Im not terribly upset either way, but if it can be saved I'd like to. Is the plant likely to heal itself?

THanks

it may heal itself, but it sounds pretty broken to me. usually if the skin breaks there isn't a whole lot of hope to be had. best of luck to you.

its gonna be crazy shocked... and i cant say for sure itll survive... but theres a chance.. just dont expect any growth to resume for a week or so until it repairs itself.. if it does...

good luck

Thanks for the replies. So there's at least a bit of hope. Again, not too worried about it either way. Just wasnt sure if I should just throw it away immediately, but I'll just let it be for a while and try not to disturb it. Any sense in taping it or anything like that?

Don't just disscared the clone use a plaster cut a small strip off and use this to put the clone back together it may take a while another tip is dip on part in rooting compound if it is in two bits.if it is not in two bits and has fibre holding it together use a cotton bud and put rooting gel/compound on with that then tape over to support it.it will look kinda ill for a few days but it should recover cannabis is a very resiliant plant and can take some stick after all it is a weed.
