go join a snake forum man. If your able to build a DWC system your able to build a dope ass terrarium for your reptiles. DIY all the way cuz bought terrariums get expensive fast. It's like the grow boxes you could buy a grow box for a few gs or you could build it yourself for a few hundo. They can also point you in the right direction as far as choices and you can see what you like. Definbately buy a book on what you intend to keep and you will know what to expect. Although tree boas are awesome they require higher tanks, branches to climb and live in, high humidity and some of them are finicky eaters and will not eat mice and sometimes they will starve because they typically eat birds. (unless you can afford to feed em birds that would be awsesome. So just kinda look around and see what you like and research and see if it's something you are willing to do. Most snakes are really simple to take care of and I can't really think of any green snakes other than like the ribbon snakes and gardener snakes. If you got any ? feel free to pm me.

the best looking snakes are always poisonous, vipers green mambas even cobras. Do not order from this link the snake is venomous but very beautiful.

yes gardner snakes eat goldfish and small insects. For me it was easier to feed mice than goldfish you can feed your snakes like once a week or month with a nice the right sized rodent. I imagine you'll be feeding more often with the gardeners. Gardeners just don't make great pets in my opinion becfause like already mentioned they are very mobile and they do shit a foul smelling crap....we used to catch them in the field. But if you really want one find out more about taking care of them. there are also tiny snakes like rubber boas and others check your local pet shop and see what they recommend.

I HAVE GROWN UP WITH SNAKES. WHEN I WAS LISTTLE I HAD A CORN SNAKE. THEN MY DAD BOUGHT A 12FT BURMESE PYTHON THAT ATE TWO RABBITS EVERY TWO WEEKS. WEN I GOT OUT OF THE MARINES I BOUGHT A HOG ISLAND BOA. cONSTRICTORS ARE THE BEST PET SNAKES BECASE IT HURTS LESS WHEN THEY BITE. IF YOU GET A SNAKE JUST REMEMBER TO HANDLE HIM/HER EVERY DAY. IF YOU DONT SNAKES TEND TO GET HOSTILE. AND DONT BE A PUSS AND FEED HIM PRE-KILLED FOOD. I TRIED THAT ONCE AND MY HOG ISLAND LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS CRAZY FOR FEEDING HIM THAT. GOOD LUCK. ALSO A SNAKE WILL ONLY GET AS BIG AS HIS HABITAT ALLOWS. ALSO A GOOD TRICK IS TO KEEP THERE WATER ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE IF CAGE FROM THE HEAT LAMP SO THEY HAVE A PLACE TO COOL OFF AND SWIM IF NEED BE.
