Do you have a journal? If so what's the link? I'd be happy to follow along.
No, I don't have one going. I just started my first indoor grow a couple months ago, figured I'd save doing a grow journal until after I had a successful harvest.

Alright we're just winding down week 3 of flower. Currently on day 19. I snipped some clones off 4 of the Creme Fraische before uppotting them and placing into the flower tent last night. I'm trying out these square pots by hydrofarm that have slits up the side corners and a mesh screen on bottom. I'm hoping these will be an improvement and help keep roots from spilling out the sides.

The grapefruit main stem purpled up a lot after the leaf strip, she definitely didn't like that at all. But she's doing fine, as are the rest of the ladies. I should know the sex of the Creme Fraische in a couple weeks.

In the veg tent the 3 crescendo's and remaining 2 Creme Fraische are doing well. Once they're big enough to clone they'll find their way into the flower tent.

What's going on RIU. My new 2x4 tent arrived yesterday and I managed to get everything setup fairly quickly. The left half of the tent houses the DIY flood table for the vegging plants and the right side has the DIY aerocloner. I'll be upgrading to a bigger table/tub soon, but this will work in the interim until the clones root.

The exhaust fan in the 2x4 is plugged into a controller and keeping temps steadily between 75-77 degrees. Humidity between 55%-65%.

I picked up some gear last week to possibly setup a drip system down the road. It's not something I want to setup right away, but I wanted to at least have the parts on hand if and when I choose to adopt that style of growing. I plan on using a 12 tube manifold connected to a water pump inside of a large reservoir, 27+ gallons. The manifold is regulated and drips 1GPH per line. Each line would feed to a plant and connect to a t-adaptor to use 2 drip stakes per plant. I'm still working on developing a design to work best with my grow space, such as putting the reservoir outside of the tent (which would allow for a 50+ gallon res) that could feed both tents.

My other little side project involves psilocybin mushrooms. I picked up some spore kits online and have been reading up on the subject. I'm not a huge physonaut but I definitely appreciate psilocybin and the magical effects it has. I've always wanted to grow my own but never really bothered looking into how easy and inexpensive it is. The species I'll by trying out first are Golden Teachers as I've read they're good for beginners. If all goes well I'll try my hand at growing Penis Envy.

Anyone else on here dabble in the world of mycology?

Happy Friday folks.

Today's day 24 of flowering for the 4x4. The Creme Fraische haven't shown sex yet but 2 of 4 have perked up. They got pissed after the the combination of transplanting and simultaneously taking clones. Their roots just started poking out of the bottom of the pot so I expect some action with foliage growth and stretch over the next week. I'm not too concerned about them since they could end up being all males, you never know, so hopefully they show their sex in the next 3-5 days so I can clear space on the veg table, move the clones into veg, take cuts of the veg plants and move them into the flower tent.

The res is rockin at 1140 PPM and the PH drifts up about a notch per day. I set it to 5.8 and let it get to 6.1 over a couple days before resetting it back down to 5.8.

The 2x4 veg/clone tent is rockin too. The remaining two creme fraische are almost ready for cuts to be taken and go into flowering. The blurple photo below was after I tucked all the larger fan leaves so the light can penetrate down to the lower nodes.

I drank a few too many beers last night with my brother in law and forgot to plug the aerocloner pump back into the outlet after checking the PH. I woke up to some limp clones, but 12 hours later they're perked right back up. I dodged a big bullet there. I'm going to hang up a sign that says "DID YOU PLUG IN YOUR PUMP?".

Today is the 6th day since taking the cuts and about half of the clones are already showing white nubs. I just dipped them in root hormone and threw them into the aerocloner with 350PPMs of Dyna Grow Foliage Pro and set the PH to 5.8.

Droppin another update on the grow project.

I stopped by my local hardware store and picked up a new mixing tub (a.k.a. flood table) for the 2x4 veg tent. It's looking like all the clones are going to take so I needed to create space. I moved the C. Fraische #5 & 6 into the flowering tent and took one clone of each. That brings the plant count to 12 in the 4x4 flower tent. All CF are now in the flower tent awaiting sexing.

The three Crescendo RBX1 are still vegging inside the 2x4 tent. They've got nice roots and a very appealing grow structure. At the moment they don't have enough large side branches for me to feel comfortable taking clones. I have a feeling that they'll go through a significant growth spurt in the next week, which will be perfect timing with everything else going on.

Flower Tent:
*Flooding every 3 hours. 10 mins on. Hydroton. Eco 185GPH pump. Have not changed res since 12/21/2018. 27 Gallon HDX tote filled to 20-24 gallons
*PH fluctuates between 5.8 and 6.1. Once it reaches 6.1 (over a couple days) I reset it back to 5.8
*PPM 1140. Jacks 321 full strength. 3.6G Jacks | 2.4G Cal-Nit | 1.2G Epsom | .4G Fulvic Acid | per gallon. Added some great white, cannazyme.
*Lights HLG QB 288 x 2 | Set to 560-570 Watts.

Quick update.

Cut some clones off the Crescendo RBX1's and put them in the flower tent. Transplanted all rooted clones. Res change 4x4 tent. Added Mammoth P & Silica. Got a bottle of Orca on the way too. Scrubbed the res and table.

Culled one Male CF #3 and tossed the clones too. CF4 looks like a female, but still to early to tell. The rest are still not showing yet.

Spent like 4 hours in the garden tonight, I'm exhausted. Time to burn one and get some R&R.

Day 35 Flower tent update.

I did some things last night and I think it's going to work out well, my fingers are crossed.

I hybridized the flood & drain table by adding a 12 outlet drip manifold. The 4x4 is now a recirculating drip flood & drain. The manifold is regulated at 1GPH per line, which means not having to cut the 1/8'' drip lines to the same length. This system recirculates the same water from the reservoir via a 2nd pump on a 1/2'' riser. It's also using a secondary timer separate of the flood pump.

Photos were taken on day 35 for the left half of the tent. Front right are the Triangle x Dosidos still not showing sex yet. Back right are the Crescendo's.

PH 5.8 - 6.1
PPM 1140 - Jacks 321 full strength
Additives: .4grams per gal Fulvic | .6ml gal Mammoth P | Great White
Lights: HLG QB 288's x 2 | 560-570 watts
Temps - 74-78 lights on | 65-69 lights off
RH - 35%-45%

Lookin nice smoke.

Curious about the pot inside of another pot?Purpose?
Thanks brother!

So I was having issues with roots protruding through the holes of the black nursery pots and getting algae buildup on them. Initially I was thinking of transplanting into larger pots, but being in hydroton makes that a difficult task. Instead I opted to just place the smaller pots inside a bigger pot and add more hydroton to give the roots space to grow out a bit. I think it did the trick for this round, but moving forward I'm using different pots better suited for my growing application.

Happy Friday RIU. The plants have been really happy since hybridizing the feeding system. I don't know what exactly it is, but when my garden is dialed in I just get so happy. It's a lot of hard work to juggle a garden, work, family, and life obligations.

Since the drippers were added the plants seem to have perked up tremendously, even the ones that had a rough transplant. I'm fairly certain the CF#6 (front right corner) is a male, a bit disappointing because of it's great vigor, but they can't all be females. #2 is the only confirmed female at this point. #4 still hasn't shown, but based on her structure I'd say it's a she if I had to guess.

Like many things in life it's all about inputs and outputs. In my case I've made a concerted effort to use solid inputs in the garden. That starts with quality products, taking accurate measurements, and being proactive instead of reactive. Below is a pictures of the products I'm currently using in the garden.

sorry excuse my wording lol, i mean is it good? ive been using hydroguard but its so expensive to get where i am.
It's good. I stopped using Hydroguard altogether because Orca has Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in it, which is the active ingredient in Hydroguard.

Since I run hydroponics I prefer it over the powdered version (great white) because it's already in liquid form.
