Yeah been eye ballin' those myself... I've seen were a few folks went a lil overboard w/UV & fried some plants in some of the UV threads. Trying to avoid that.

Phpatrick
i have them a good 12 inches above the plants, and they uv comes on 4 hours after the main lights and runs 5 hours then shuts back down.but in veg i have 2 of them per 8 lamp panel running 17/7 every day

Damn it Sixstring, sorry to here about your power issues. I always wondered how you guys up north handled those types of power issues... Didn't know if you guys had backup generator or what. But I'd guess that comes with it's own set of issues to. Be kind of hard for a generator to run buried under a bunch of snow.
Oh & thanks for the link to the hydro store, best prices on the horti tubes so far.

Spare parts are a must.

Power continuity is best when locally generated but not really feasible for most households. Elon is changing that.

I thought he put the powerwall out to pasture but maybe not...?

Any hope of federal incentives has evaporated under this administration anyhow now that Mother Exxon is our secretary of state. Woof.

Beautiful plants as always @sixstring2112

Contrary to some belief, big oil is quite happy working with new tech partners. Think big - they are very interested in space exploration since they are best prepared to exploit the resources. It is their core business after all.

Battery thing is being run in Australia as far as I know. There is also the solar roof and a bunch of neat stuff with nanotech on the horizon.

Regarding the US administration, the talk about being business friendly in reducing taxes probably more than makes up for any lost incentives. Plus the incentive is to reduce the ever increasing cost from an utility delivery model.

They still invest in tech :)

Technically fossil fuels are a renewable resource, it just takes longer to renew them.

Plus there are big giant rocks floating around in space that have lots of great stuff. Who else has the capability to mine them? It isn't like individuals are going to make it there on their own.

Having said that, the petrochem industry is a nemesis of hemp - all our petrochemical needs can be satisfied by this plant.
