mmmm haha cat piss is one of those strains that sounds nasty but smokes so good.

thanks guys, but if you read you will see i made some mistakes early one and had some pest problems, but still should end up with some decent smoke...
i was getting ready to fill the other half of my 3x6 but because this pest battle continues im serriously thinking about "scratch"!!

finishing this harvest and doing a complete and thorough clensing of my whole area and also starting fresh with new moms...
what do you guys think? at this piont i dont know what else to do..

i believe in peace and these little fuckers are starting to make me mad...
 
yeah bro I got to do a change in set up too hey im cloneing with rooterplugs should I soak them in ph water or can I just put the clones in rooterplugs with no treatment just clone hormone solution ?
 
those already come ph'd i used them for the first time on the ones bieng flowered now... i liked them alot, beter than rockwool...
but i always add my own root solution mixed in ph water..
 
yup i put them in the holes in my ezcloner for simplicity and they rooted about 20% faster than the same clones in rockwool...
 
Shit man that really blows,,,,,must be frustrating as hell. Do you spray your plants on a regular basis or at all. I pretty much have to in the summer to control mites.

Any strains in mind?

well heck you know HC i am totally anal about keeping my area clean.. i would spray the room daily and the plants weekly, but all this time going back and forth helping others set up there first grow had taken alot from me.. and as a result my whole crop suffered.. from moms to clones and all flowering plants...
the flowering queens have not grown one bit in a week now??? her kids still are but they are totally starting to show sighs of stress now also...

you will not believe how fast a infestation of gnats and thrips can occure..

i will tell you its been less than three weeks...
at the start of this thread i noticed none!!! and now even thoe i never walked away from a battle every time i walk in my room it might be the last...

its that bad, i will show you some pics of my moms roots, or lack of them cause i just got done cutting them all off in an attempt to slow the breading...\
when i cut the "huge" mass of roots a whole shit load of gnats came flying out...

so my last line of offence is going to be this:
i an going to mix a some spiniside and fish oil in a large container and i am going to completly submerge all my clones and moms, roots and plant for about 15 seconds each..
flowering plants just have to wait it out all i can do for them is spray spray spray... and hope for the best

Once they are infested they can take out a crop in a matter of days especially at flower time....one of my bros had them and i spotted them and he was loosing the battle too! when to a hydro store and he gave us a chemical( orithene or someting like that) for them and it worked....he still lost half of his yield due to thrips....fuckers!!! If I had not spotted them he would have lost it all! Know how he showed gratitude to me was ......Nothing.... for saving his garden!!! oh well....i got the experience of helping with his crops, helped him with a few. Until i knew he was only in it for the $$$$$. Greedy fucker! lol some people hey?
 
yea man im already starting to feel that way about one of the guys im helping, so after this first one im done with him...

some (most) are in it for nothing but the money...
but to me its a great hobby and im gonna continue to help and learn all i can, not so that i can get something back in return but alteast some frickn gratitude for all ive done and invested...

underground is were im headed after this round win or loose...
i cant stand the superficial haters out there anymore...
 
how do you run your cloner? what water, timer,temps ect. I have one the same as yours and i'm hit and miss with it. I've tried sprayers on 15 off 15 , on constant, no nutes, some ect.never can get it right on. how bout share your method.....please

well if you scroll back a couple pages you can see the nutes i use.. roots exelerator is way expensive but totally worth it.. you can also use a product called rizotonic from canna for alot cheaper...
this is technichally my first time using the cloner without any medium so im still trying to figure the run times... but what im doing for now is running 1min on and 5min off this way i can controll res temp better, but if this does not work then i will switch to constant on and turn on my chiller...

im 2 days in with these and so far so good, i have no roots yet of cource but the clones are still green...
