Why would it come with a bulb and not a socket? That doesnt make any sense. Im still pissed I missed that deal..

E-conolight still has a pretty reasonable 150w enclosed HPS flood light for 42 bucks. Im thinking, take it apart, remove the ballast and just use the whole fixture as a grow light. Cut holes in the case and just cool it that way. Think it will work? Im on a budget, LOL

put up the link for this fixture and ill take a look. they are usually pretty easy to take apart and make them remote ballast.
i use low bay fixtures. mine are 400 watt. take a look at my link on wireing and making remote. im sure we could do it to the fixture your looking at.

thats a pretty good light. although when i bought my 400 watts lights like the one in my thread was less than 40 bucks. but anyways that light would work.
i dont think you will have enough room to cut holes in it work a vent hose. you could take the socket out of the light and put the ballast outside the grow room. just have the bulb hanging. you could make a cooltube.
