SIMPLE and CHEAP cfl light fixture

This seemed like a better place for this post. I know there are quite a few options already-but what's one more?!

You got 5 power bars and 9 sockets for $30? Fuckin-A.

I use cheap ass vanity mirror fixtures and a flattened vent pipe for a reflector.

I only had to buy 4 power bars because I had one already, but the sockets were $1 each. Walmart has a 2-pack of 6-plug power strips for $7.

I had a a little $10 3-socket light fixture before I made this. I wanted my bulbs to be horizontal because I read they are more efficient that way. I also wanted more bulbs! And this way I didn't have to wire anything!

yeah .. I just need to do some mods - I had to quickly put it together last night to get my girls in the cab.

I just buy those 5 dollar clamp lights at Wal-Mart, take off the reflector and put a y socket there ^_-

5k, once again, cheap shit from wally world =)

I'm all about the DIY and built my own fixtures for my indoor DWC. Props to you for taking the initiative, but those power strips with the plug-in light sockets scare me personally. I'd be afraid one of them would fall out and hurt my girls or that it'd come loose and end up causing a short and a fire. Could just be paranoid, but maybe not. Either way I hope your grow goes well!
