Silicon Thermal Tape

Has anyone any experience of this, or have advice regarding it. I bought a load of 3590s, 133mm predrilled heatsinks and the silicone thermal tape linked below, from Kingbrite.

The more that I work with this stuff I'm obviously getting better at applying and smoothing it but my eyesight isn't that brilliant. Have also been working in daylight mostly. In a rush to finish I've been doing this tonight under a lamp and I've noticed some tiny raised areas, They are pretty small as I've been aware to smooth bubbles out. Anyone know if these are going to be hot pockets under the cob, or will the pressure from the cob holder smooth them out (question mark broken lol, and closed bracket lmao>

I was working in the way growmau5 does with the graphite thermal tape, but in hindsight I should have maybe stuck them on the heatsink first...

This is pretty distressing as I've been doing this all week and just about finished!

Any advice appreciated cheers

this is what I would do...

#1 try to roll the bubbles to the edges with my gloved finger

#2 try to roll the bubbles to the edges with a a small weight

#3 pop the bubbles with a needles,

#4 mount cob

:peace: :joint:

I've tried removing a couple I done in the beginning and the silicone ripped a little. So my options are; someone assures me it'll be fine, I remove and replace thermal tape which will take about 2 weeks or hope for the best!

I do stuff like that to intentionally test out certain parameters.......but I would not suggest it at this point, especially since you probably aren't aiming for a "testing" phase...... May be better to start fresh and with a clear mind.
