Hello. First grow here. Ive got a bunch of seedlings heres the setup..

Solo cups filled with 90% coco 10% perlite.

I started seeds in paper towels with tap water (PPM 160 & smells like sulfer). Got above 90% germ rate threw them in the solo cups. I made the mistake of watering them with no nutes I put them in towels on day 1, day 3 they sprouted and I added first nutes on day 7 when they had about 2 sets of leaves. I am using Heavy 16 drain to waste.

So, so far.
I washed the coco to the right PH.
Days 1-7 No Nutes. Just Tap water with Hygrozyme (about 6ml per gallon.) Ph Balanced best I can with drop Ph tester buying electronic one withen 48 hrs. I watered them until they have runoff once a day. coco is staying moist.
Day 7 I noticed leaves were turning a little bit bright green on all seedlings. It was on the new leaves the old not pointy first leaves are still green. And there is a couple small yellow brownish spots on 5%-10% of seedlings.
Day 7 night time I gave reccommended 300PPM Heavy 16 feeding. 2ml per gallon B-52 from Advanced Nutrients and still the hygrozyme and ph tested. Temps in room have been 75-80 degrees from seed to this point and 24/7 light under approx 400Watt t-5 6 inches above leaves.
Day 8 night time I fed serving of 260 PPM Heavy 16, B-52, hygroenzyme.
Day 9 morning collected some rain water at 0 PPM I added 360PPM Heavy 16, B-52, Hydroenzyme and fed until run off.
Day 9 installed small fan blowing straight up bringing temp down to 70 degrees.
Leaves are still in same shape not getting better or worse from what I can tell.
What do I do now?
Im thinking of letting the coco dry out some cause Ive left it moist almost 24/7 and never let it dry completly could I be drowinging them? Let me know your thoughts on how to proceed. Do i need epsom salts possible Mag defficency?

Thanks in advance for help!:-(

lol I will try to take one with my cheap cell phone maybe i can get the webcam to do that. I need to buy a camera Im gonna go try to get something though.

The 2 round leaves are a dark green. Other 2-3 sets of leaves are brighter green and a few (small percente of plants) have a couple yellow spots in the middle of leaves if that helps at all. The bright green is the entire leaf not outside or inside etc.

Well Im going to bed I hope I get some gurus come out of the woodwork in the meantime :). Come to mention they actually arent looking that bad anymore I think they slowly are getting a better green color Ive been checking them so often it is hard to notice. And the biggest plant there broke out some yellow spots more recently so that was making me worried. What to do????? HMMM thanks for the input! Anyone else using coco now? any advice on how often I should water it like fully dry or leave it damp or a little bit of both.. Also should I feed everyday or feed, water etc Im thinking feed everyday with runoff and flush once in a while with rain water but I am a noobie advice appreciated. TY:sleep:Night

Seedling phase is over at about 4 weeks and then they can handle full light no worries... I'm also using coco coir for seedlings, doesn't really need water more often than every third day in my room (about 26 degrees c), using 20cm pots I don't dig transplanting too early... careful to over-water them that might be the cause of the little spots, otherwise not looking bad to me at all, definitely haven't damaged them badly.

And give them some sleep 24/7 lighting really tires them out in my opinion but many dis-agree, honestly I don't see faster growth under 24 than 18...

All the best!

first of you dont nee to wash must brands espaccaly canna, the only thing that should come into contact with youre coco the first time, is AnB, the additives such as rizhotonic and cal/mag, as in they are you needed to trigger you micro life to life, aka the trichadema the beneficial bacteria that grow and multiply over time that you need lol, by eating youre AnB and shiting out in easy forms for youre roots to uptake, is one of the main task they do, by washing ph water in there you will kill them of, as chlorine kills them there nothing for them to eat and you're washing them out, with out these youre coco will struggle to provide and protect you're plants and there needs, wait till about week 2 to 3 of you're coco life before you start strat to hit 1o- to 30 percent run or till you feeding zym, ok i know this can depend on a lot of factors, buts a rough there abouts lol once youre coco is established and starts to decay it will hold its own ppm at about 300 to 500, mainly k and youre micro levells are high then you can get away with a plain water feeding or dial one into youre feeding regime the common one is every 3rd, but i never i always use just addatives on that feed or if i need to bring down my ec , never just plain water, till the last week, i reaaly think youve damged youre ph buffers from alll the water flushing youve done, you've differently washed away some micro life, also you can over water coco, it hold 70 to 30 percent air to water, but that 30 percent water, also i know depending on pot seize, can be to much for young seedlings, let it dry, is ok, also watering like that, that heavy to soon, will lose you controll of youre ec, but you be ok as you will be moving up in post seize, also get a ec stick or truncheon, till then you could follow canna light feed chart, i hate them tbh, can lead you down bad roads, but if you remember its not a irion dialed in law, then you be fine till you get a stick, remember dont stress about ph, youre reading arnt accurate anyway or a real refection of the mediums ph, then time it takes for the coco to buffer the solution is far longer than it takes to run out of a small pot, that why they always seem to vary, ignore them, lol honestly, always feed in range and forget about it, once you have youre pen, youre fine, coco magic ph is 5.8, but feeding at 6.0 in veg will make mag more available and 5.8 for flowring makes k more available, and calcium during weeks 4 to 6 of flowing, anyway ive got to shoot, need to do some feeding my self, if you any q, message me, i check back in thou
