Can any one Identify what this could be? The growfaq is still down and I am having trouble locating information on this ailment.

pH: 5.5 - 5.8
Temp: 72 - 74f

I think it is a Mg deficiency but I am not very sure about that.

Here are the high rez pix i was talking about.

I have a very similar thing going on with a couple of my white widow plants. I thought mag def. as well. I treated it with cal-mag plus and it seems to be looking better. Are you using r/o water?

Yeah, I use r/o water. This is odd. Because only the leaves near the top are effected. but not all of them. As you can see the leaves that have resin on them are un-affected.

The plant other wise looks healthy. The bud is still getting fatter, and more sticky, but those leaves worry me.

I am still not sold on the Mg defeicency just yet, it could be Mn (Manganese).

Any thoughts?

What strain are you growing. Mine aren't flowering yet but I have almost the exact same symptoms. I use r/o water as well and Calcium, magnesium and Iron are the more common deficiencies associated with r/o water. I am still not 100% sure that mag is my problem either because it's right near the top and the new leaves don't have it on them yet. What nutes are you using?

The strain is Black Berry (Nirvana).
The nutes are foxfarm: bigbloom, growbig, and tigerbloom.

The light is about a foot from the top of the plant, and there are leaves near the top that don't have that discoloration. Also some of the leaves near the bottom have it too.

I started to flower on the 20th of July. So almost 48 days now.

I haven't seen any other reviews about this strain so I am not sure if this possibly is normal or not. Somehow I don't think it would be, but I could be wrong.

Get some cal-mag plus. If you are using r/o water it's almost a necessity. I am betting you have the same problem I have and I really think it was a mag deficiency. If you want I will keep in touch and let you know how mine are doing because It's still too early to tell if the cal-mag helped or not. Best of luck my friend.

Yeah man, keep in touch on that. Also could you post a pic of your sick plant? I am curious now if you do have the same symptoms.

I can't post pics right now because my camera is out of service. Trust me, it's almost identical. I've been looking for days for someone having similar problems and yours looks so much like what mine are doing it's almost uncanny.

It is lacking calcium and cal/mag deficiancies go hand in hand most often because they tapper off at the same ph level. Once you've supplimented with cal-mag they usually take about a week to turn around. The affected leaves will not get better but the plant will begin to perform better as far as the buds go.

ps I did not read the entire thread just most of it, should have I know....hope I did not repeat or step on the toes that already said this. :) peace
