Sick kids collective

You know I was thinking....
Most clinical studies involving CBD start with dosages at 800 mg a day.
For parents with a kid who has dravets syndrome, that's a lot of fucking money.
Once weed is legalized, why don't we try and get a collective together where we could get non smokers to grow high cbd, next to no THC strains?
We could gather tons of this stuff, get a lab to extract the CBD and we could give epileptic kids (through their parents), all the CBD they need for free?
I would really like to make this happen.

I have no money to invest in that I was thinking about setting up a framework so that even poor people could help chip in .I'd love to farm it but I don't know wtf I'm doing yet when it comes to growing lol
Plus the liberal report is suggesting only four plants for rec limit

This is great to hear. I think the biggest issue is sourcing seeds that have significant CBD levels but no amount of psychoactivity. I almost wonder if a mini breeding project is in order. I think this is the first priority

Sure, like Charlotte's Web or AC/DC. But this is not the only big issue. I was just reading an article at ProjectCBD.org about sequencing the cannabis genome by Kevin McKernan. He points out some interesting results from studies with Dravet's where he states:

in some of those patients, CBD isn’t their molecule. They get 2-400 percent, smaller, 15 percent of the kids get worse. When seizure patients, like Dravet patients get worse, it’s extensively worse. It’s like they get intubated. They end up in the ER. Sometimes they get Status Epilepticus. And often times you hear anecdotally, some of those parents switch into THC or THCA, and they get better.

If your goal is CBD than your seeds are easy as hell to source, you need what they sell as industrial hemp plants which contain 8-13% CBD and nearly 0% THC, you can get thousands of seeds for a few dollars. Dana Larsen was handing this out as Freedom Dream and Green Kingdom and can be purchased here http://www.hemping.com/viable-hemp-seed-whole-1-kg

Thing is we need genetics with verified levels.
Avidikel is produced by the Hebrew university of Jerusalem. So those are probably some of the very best genetics we can get ahold of.
Although Harlequin is a great strain as well.
Also from the breeders of avidikel is midnight which apparently has a similar cannabinoid profile

I don't buy those numbers
I'll need to see lab reports
Generally CBD dominant strains of hemp have been bred with more standard breeds of cannabis in order to jack up the Cannabinoid profile.
Because hemp strains while they typically have the CBD trait the plants are bred for fiber production not flower production

check the resin seeds homepage, I think they have the updated pedigree.

The best of both worlds, a phenotype selected from the hybrid cross between Reina Madre and NYCD. Grows like an Indica, smells like a Sativa, and renders you… Cannatonic

I heard him say the dad was blue heaven/nycd as well. the original seeds came through a broker, bred by jimmy of reggae seeds, which is why it was a mystery so long.

Jamie says they sent the Israeli's a big bag of cannatonic seeds, then shortly after they patented 3 cbd varieties 'of unknown pedigree' lol

The present plant was developed over 3 years through selective breeding from parents of unknown provenance in Birya, Israel.
unknown provenance lol
