hey guys check out my Stealth Roof LST. Started em from seed. The first two sets of two pictures are "Bubba Kush" F1s from a buddies home-crossed bubblegum and afghan. They were planted after germ on the 4th of July. The 3rd set of 2 pics is one of two seeds I got of another friends personal strain Mendo Purple x True Blueberry, supposed to be a big yielder. Started it 2 1/2 weeks after the bubbas. Tell me what you guys think:leaf:
Hey guys here are some updated pics of my "bubba kush" seedlings....erm excuse me, i mean purple bubba kush seedlings as of a week or two ago. These pics are from a week n a half or so ago.. They are just about ready by now gonna take my final pics just before harvest and ill post again. The first set of pics is the Bubba i grew in a shallow wide pot. I regret it now, seeing how this pheno grew out, cuz you could tell it was the type that really just wanted to stretch its legs. and was runnin out of gas by the end. Its branches grew in kind of a stadium-like way after i bent it over, and if I could have had a bigger pot/more veg time, shoots would have grown right out of the middle like crazy, could've been monstrous..

The second set is of the other purple bubba. It is growin so prime, smells so strong stinks up the whole perimeter of my house. Had to convince people there is a skunk living under my deck:-P.

thanks man, ya my roof is pretty perfect. There is only about a 4 square foot spot in my neighbors backyard where there is any sort of view of my babies at all..besides from the air, and im bankin that these choppers have better things to look at than a plant in a bleach bucket hahaha.

A few pics of my ladies on day 5 or 6 of flower, its day at today

jillybean in fox farms ocean forest/light warrior, in 5 gallon smart pots. However I think next time I'm gonna put them in 7 gallon smart pots. Also I use botanicare nutes, hygrozyme, kanga-roots and microbe brew.

my other jilly, scrogged though. I planned to do this to all of them but it was taking too long and this one just blew the rest away as far as growth so she's the only scrog I got going.

To start my ladies out, I grow them until I get 8 or 9 nodes, then I top the plant leaving 6 sets of branches (usually I want enough plant to get a cutting), then I remove the bottom 2 sets of branches leaving my 4 sets of branches to work with which also lets some air move around down there. From there they grow nice into what I got going above as far as LST'd ladies, but it works well for scrogg as well. I could have did a little better but I needed to get my other plants flowering and running out of veg space so I flipped them all.

Whats up MCP and LSTers!!!!! IM BACK....and getting my LST on!

I took a nice break from growing and now I am ready to rock out a winter grow. I need to get my personal life together and take some time for myself and family. So I am motivated and looking forward to the winter grow. Right now I am doing a all DWC Grow, I am a soil grower learning how to grow in bubbles. I love LSTing and I am thrilled to be back on MCP's thread.

Current LST project: BG Special (Pre-98 Bubba(F) x Grape Kush(M)) I got this from my bro BC99.

BG Special on Tuesday. This plant was top'd once and this is the plant before I had done any LST or SC.

Here is the BG Special after LST and Sup Crop. For all that know me I LST with string and duct tape or clothes pins(when using smart pots)

PA250339.jpgPA250346.jpg

Here is the BG Special the very next day on Wednesday....LST is a BEAUTIFUL THANG!!!!

PA260356.jpg

Damn it feels good to be back growing again....I have Early Skunk and Cougar Kush. Just growing 3 plants right now but they are going to be monsters!!!

Peace

Five AK-48 clones. Vegged the rooted clones for 45 days. Just flipped yesterday. This strain (or at least the pheno I have) stretches very little in flower, so even though it looks tight in there, space shouldn't be an issue. At this point I let them just grow straight up anyway. One round of topping early on.

Peace.

This is my first LST. I posted this elsewhere before saw this thread. I would like to put my information here. Sorry for the double post.

600 watt HPS from start to finish.
420 CFM exhaust with cheap 8" inline fan to bring in fresh air from a nearby window. Soil grown - basic organic soil with tons of perlite and coco fiber.
Water with miracle grow 1/2 strength every other watering.
3 gallon buckets.
(6) heavy duty fruity from seed (2) purple arrow clones and (1) og kush clone.
this is also my first grow with clones.

These pics are from week 6-7. Yesterday was week 8 and I flipped the lights to 12/12. I was going to LST again, but it took 15 minutes just for one plant so I ditched that idea and decided to just go into flowering. I will post more recent pics tomorrow. The plants have filled out quite a bit since these pics were taken and the little kiddie pool is just about filled-out, so I am hoping the yield will be good.

any advice is appreciated
.

week 1 of 12/12. All (6) Heavy Duty Fruity grown from seed are all females (hurray!!) Added to the three clones I got, I should have a nice harvest.

Things look really bushy and I am really excited about the LST method at this point. I can't wait to see what the buds look like.

I did notice that some of the colas look like they have large spaces in between nodes, mainly on the clones. Is this normal for LST? Normal for clones? I am new to both.
