Should soil be wet or dry for harvest?

Just watered and will be harvesting soon. Is there any positve or negative results to letting her dry out just before harvest? Pretty sure I read it somewhere but as I've been smoking some of the early harvest and I can't seem to locate the article. Though it said it would draw the thc into the buds but not sure?

The only thing that matters is that you should not feed fet/nuts during the last 2 to 3 weeks. feed only water. As far as watering is concerned...well, your just gonna use a shear to snap the main stem to seperate from the roots and you will dry the buds...

for more info look at my videos posted on newbie forum... on the front page. don't forget to comment!!!!

If you smoke your bud with fertilizer you might grow an extra apendage in a random area of your body, probably your chest....

Good luck with that...

actually that's a good question. What if you're using soil like Miracle Grow (yes yes, shouldn't use MG but if you are..) it's safe to smoke when it's done correct? I sure hope so!

2 to 3 weeks before harvest? and you have an instructional video you want us to see? If you have plants that flower in about 6 weeks that means you don't fertilize for half the total time?

YOU want to stop fertilizing as soon as you see the first brown hairs usually hapens in the 5th week of flowering...after that you can harvest when 2/3 to 3/4 of the hairs are brown...the plant will take the energy from leaves and stems...the leaves will turn yellow so don't worry about it... however when the leaves turn too yellow or brown you might want to prune them because then they'll use energy themselves to try to stay alive...you want the buds to take the energy not the leaves...unless you like smoking leaves....

and no it won't kill you or harm you it just makes the smoke harsh and also the weed will go out from time to time when you try to smoke it...it is only for the plant and its quality and has nothing to do with you...

if your soil has nutes than next time you might want to see how long it will last and also try using a soiless mix because it won't have any nutes and you can add them after the fact...

also the last two weeks you can add two more hours to your light cycle...contrary to what some people say, it is OK to add two more hours during the last two weeks when you have started your flush...Do not add more hours during the first period of flowering (first 5-6 weeks).

dude you keep clowning everyone. white widow prefers 2 hours LESS light (14 hours of dark) the last 2 weeks to prevent regrowth....... but then again, what do i know?:-?

sorry i'm ornery tonight, the whole MRI thing. anyway i think it may very strain to strain. i know some indicas can be put back into 18 hours of light after several weeks of flowering. and they will finish flowering.

man my head is killing me. peace.

yea you may be right...but I personally think that 18 hours will most likely revert back the plant into vegetative growth...I just meant 2 hours...
