Should it be this green??

Should my plant be this light green? It was root bound so i transplanted it to a new pot, just started giving it half strength Maxigrow and Monstergrow. But it is almost a neon green.

It was transplanted 3 days ago and has grown 2 inches in its new pot already. Any ideas?

whats your npk? looks like it needs more nitrogen
I don;t have a meter to test that unfortunantly, but yes it started going yellow at the bottom leafs, i figured it was a nitrogen deficiency as well, so i started with the lightweight nutes, then i noticed that growth had stopped as well, when i changed the pot out in 19 days the plant had completely surrounded the soil with roots. I moved it to the bigger potter and have been giving it about 5-6 hours of sun then back to my CFLs. It has grown in height alot but all new growth is the same color.

ok seth rogen, it says the npk on the package, it looks like 10-5-10 or something. you def want higher numbers in the N department

yo bro.
i was gonna comment in your journal about it but i will do it here instead.
yes, its probably N def, esp. if it started at the bottom.
But, just blasting more nutes might not work. the soil ph could be off and the plant cant get nutes even if they're there if that is the case. if you have been giving nutes I'd say maybe ph lockup causing nute def. if you think you have been light on nutes, then yeah blast it with a dose and see what happens. I just want you to make sure before choosing because ive misdiagnosed and treated before i realized the true cause before....

Well i wish i had his money i can say that, back on the subject i use the Maxigrow which is 10-5-14 - Monstergrow which is 12-7-15 and

schultz 10-15-10 for foliage spray

On the plant i have only been using half of the recommended amount of the maxi and monster grow. Haven't used the schultz on it yet.

great point! seth rogen, do you test your PH, or let it distill over night?

something like fish emulsion can give you a organic, quick, easy nitrogen boost if you wanna just focus on N, as well.
yes I would say at this point try a 75% or 100% nute dose, that is, if you have been flushing with plain water once in awhile, which will also reduce the likelyhood of nute lockout.

Yeah plain water is the only thing that it has been given until recently when i started on the light doses of nutes. I'm leaning more towards the blast of nutes to get it back on track...

I have read about using baking soda to raise the ph, would i just use the baking soda to ph the water i am feeding with and overtime that will ph the soil?

get your ph in check, as suggested, then add nutes and give her a good watering. thats my vote

try the super thrive with a little food then work your way up better to give it less then to much food!! superthrive is not a food its a vitamin additive ( high in b)
