should i have separate pipes for weed and tobacco?

i have a standard tobacco pipe, and a churchwarden tobacco pipe. i like smoking weed and tobacco out of both of them, but i was told i should use one for weed only, and one for tobacco only. is there a reason for this?

.....i smoke tobacco....and i smoke weed......but i dont smoke tobacco and weed......if that makes ny sense......but iv heard of ppl do what u do

Personal preference, if it doesn't bother you then there's no reason not to. Personally I would prefer to burn oily newspaper in my pipe than tobacco.

That's GROSS.

Like not super gross, but having tobacco resin is a lot different than MJ resin.

The only reason I stopped smoking them out of the same pipe is so I don't have the resin of both in one pipe... And I bought four more X3
