an albuquerque grow store operator, shot a guy in the back as he ran out of the store with a hood. seems a little harsh for a damn light....

I would say the thief. They knew full well that there is a risk when you steal.

If he wouldn't have stole, he wouldn't been shot.

store owner is gonna do some time for that. never shoot anyone in the back, it demonstrates that they aren't an imminent threat. bullet in front always, unless they broke into your house and are inside.

Shooting someone in the back is pretty cowardly in most siutations, and also illegal if the owner didn't have a reasonable fear for his life.

idk... its not the 1800's anymore but.. dont really know the circumstances, he could have had this happen from the same dude before or others

I'm not saying I condone shooting someone in the back but I don't have sympathy for the thief either.

Well at least he didn't break in and steal from a grower. I think he may be smarter than we think......he didn't want to end up as a organic fertilizer in some undisclosed grow-op

It's a curtainment issue and depends on current statutory law and trends so it can be dangerous even inside your house or as far away as your fences. I know in TX he'd get a parade..........

I agree shooting someone in the back is fucked up but I still stand by my previous statement of shouldn't steal things. Whole situation could have been avoided.
