Can anyone advise please? this is the top of my plant, do you think it looks ready to harvest? if so, will it be ok to harvest the top and then the bottom?

Any info on harvesting in 2 batches would be greatly appreciated, e.g flushing etc.

Next time post pics of the entire plant so we can give you a better understanding on when she's ready to harvest. The top looks good but it's only a half the pic, need to see the rest. However, if you wanted to do a pre/partial harvest that's fine but again we would need to see the rest. Some plants can be chopped towards the top and then the bottom is left to finish for another couple weeks or so.

some people do. if you have the time and space for it and patience then sure harvest as you see fit.

thats what I usualy do, cut the tops and leave the rest for a couple more weeks, by the the time the tops are dried and smoked, I cut the rest.

I do it because I can't trim fast and long enough to finish the whole plant in one sitting. I see no drawbacks. It actually took me 3 trimming sessions to harvest 1 plant. After that I called some pros- they my garden almost completely trimmed in 12hrs.
