In your opinion, what Sativa would you go for if you were looking for a energetic, creative, clear minded buzz..??

I'm thinking Strawberry cough..? but i haven't a clue....

Thanks for any help you can throw this way..
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention if you're referring to Dutch Passion's SBC I would stay clear away from those, I grew out three at different times and each produced horrible bud, that hermed like fucking crazy.

So yeah not trying to jack SG just had to put that out there, fucking DP basically wasted months of work. Anyways good luck strain hunting!

Yeah SG that was good was info :leaf:

I think Qleaner would be a nice sativa to recommend, the high is amazing and very strong, great for focusing on tasks, especially creative ones. Personally when I would smoke it I woul get great inspiration for art, and ideas would flow like crazy. It really sparked my creative nature... Anyways, it also yields pretty amazing hash, as the sugar leafs are the frostiest I've encountered. It's also done at around 8wks, which is a huge plus :)

Speaking of TGA, I'm going to keep a close eye on your Agent Orange(s), I really want to try this strain out. It's one where I want to get a 10 pack and pick a keeper male and female for breeding stock. The smell and taste are amazing from what I hear and I've seen it produce some huuge buds...
if you want a good breeder from tga the best you can get is space queen and you should cross it with qrazy train one of the best smokes in the world

Right on, I've actually used Space Bomb as my male for a few projects, I preferred that one over the SQ. But yeah you're right, I can imagine it being amazing. :leaf:

Isn't that the male sub usually uses for breeding, space dude?

And no worries on the chatter, welcome it.

600 hps tent with the blue mistic. This lady is just over 2 months old total and on day 12 of flower. Got about 8 days of stretch left probably, which at this rate will put them right at around 14-17" above the screen - perfect for a 600w. My biggest single plant ever lol wish me luck. Drinking 1.5 gal per day already.

Clones are looking pretty good in the cloner. Couple sad ones in there are just tester trash shoots. I wanna see if I can save em. The front left is a TimeWreck clone, I think she's a beauty, some nice roots going on her to match. Time to transplant.

2 weeks since I potted these round 13 veggers up. Seedlings are doing amazing. Go buy canna start right now, lol... but really... it's amazing stuff for seedlings and young clones. Oh I forgot to mention the bottle is only $13 u can thank me later.

TimeWreck in the 250w CMH GL60 tent. This is at 9 days of flower, looks to be an average stretcher which I'm happy about, maybe not the vortex pheno tho...time will tell...then time will be wrecked  :eyesmoke:

WOW!!! She is a BEAST! I started in water farms. They work great but will wear you out in flower! lol I wanted to make a 5 gal water farm but never did. I would love to see the root ball on that biotch! Looks like you have the salt build up under control...Nice work SG...:hump:

Nice I'm interested to see how you like those air pots! Everything looks GREAT!
So far they are great. All the benefits of smart pots, SOLID sides are nice. They are a bit tall for my situation but I could always cut them down with a cuttoff tool if I had a mind to do that much work lol I just don't fill em all the way. Plus when the grow is done I can take out 2 clasps and dump all the old medium in the trash, clean them up and ready for fresh potting. My Air pots were getting so covered in roots it was impossible to get them clean - I was throwing them out each cycle.

Yeah they are a lot of babysitting. Esp with a plant this size, she's drinking 1.5 gallons per day. I'm doing rez changes every 3rd day to keep up with how much they are eating. I try to stick by the rule of: solution change when you have topped off the rez volume, since it's only 2 gals that doesn't take very long lol Salt buildup is really ez when you don't veg in them, I'm really liking this veg in 2 gal smart pots, take a razor to the bottom of the pot making 5 or 6 long, parallel slits through the pots (to let the fatter roots come through) and then plugging them into the farm/surrounding the pot with hydroton. Seems the rez stays way cleaner this way, and cooler since there is always a plant to shade it.
That pump could air up a truck tire! lol Are you using an air stone to?
haha the pump is a 4 outlet, I forget how many L/hr. It's a midrange pump, but far from as nice as the GH gual diaphram pump I have on the 2 large rezes. It's perk is it's adjustable so I can turn it down to keep the rings from splashing too much or up when they start to get clogged and need some extra power.

What line of nutes are you running in that waterfarm, guy? Looking good there. I'd be itching to trim those fan leaves under the screen by now.

I've been interested in trying those air-pots, too. Had similar thoughts to your own, that the smaller volume pots seemed on the tall-ish side.

If you are throwing out the smart pots you should look into root pots. Just the same at 1/2 the price. I have both. I was veging in 1 gal root pots. I would fold over the sides to make 1/2 gal for seedlings and clones then as they grew, trim bottoms, unroll the sides and add dirt as needed. I lovem. Then up pot to 2 or 3 gallon smart/root pots 2 weeks before flower. My magic veg number was 10 weeks minimum. I noticed a big dif in plant growth between 8 weeks and 10. Especially if they were showing pre flowers. After harvest I let them dry, rub them in my hands to loosen the roots that are stuck then throw them in the washer with a little soap and chlorox on super wash. Then run another wash cycle with just water. Worked great!

I can see your method is kick ass!!!

Couldn't agree more, SG showed me why I should use a screen lol!

BTW, I'm waiting on the farm because of summer and res temps :( good news is I'm running more strains to find out what to plug into the farm when ready :)

Hey man. I don't know much about scrog, but do you just top a few times to get like 8 tops and then spread it out? I've topped a few of my plants a few times lately... I'm waiting for more of my supplies to get here before I start a new thread.

Appreciate it. I try to keep new pics rollin as the plain text gets boring. But I'd like to think there's good info in the text too lol just takes more work to get it.

I'm running the canna line in the waterfarms. And funny you said that I just did a major trim yesterday and cleaned them out almost completely to the screen.

They are tall, but for soil it would be great. For flood and drain not so much. I got the 12.5L ones and they are filled prob 3/4 full. Top watered them for the first couple weeks, maybe 3 or 4 times total is all...and now the table seems to have taken over. I think they wick a decent amount of water up tho due to the rockwool chunks I mix in.

Everyone told me this with the smartpots too. Then I showed shrubs what they looked like. Lol maybe I am just lazy but rigid plastic is a nice change to be honest. I never liked how much the medium moved around in the pots when I moved them, esp if the roots aren't established.

The blackwater is very appealing looking, smelling, smoking. Sadly its a pretty indica dominant high and airy. But it sure is unique! Might end up losing the genetics tho sadly, lost the orig cutting got a new one but it's 4 weeks in flower so we'll c. The agent orange is vegging in round 13, so it will be flowered in about 4 weeks here. Have 3 diff plants, so hoping for 2 females so I can pick phenos. 3 would be nice too lol we'll c I have bad m/f ratio luck usually tho.

And the blue mistic, man it's great. Been the new fav of everyone recently. Royal queen seeds hooked it up, maybe I just got a sick ass pheno, but it's pretty amazing.
Couldn't agree more, SG showed me why I should use a screen lol!

Yeah I hear ya on the temps. I was just making plans for the 600 tent as I will probably have to shut it down in the summer to battle heat. I'm gonna try to push it to the end of may with some A/C but we'll see how the weather is lookin closer to then.

Yep. Depending on the strain I will top more or less times. The blue mistic I found I have to top + lst in order to achieve the shape I want. Basically your trying to bush them out but the screen will help with that too. When you start tucking the dominant shoots under the auxin is redisrubuted to lower shoots causing them to grow. Then in the stretch you finish filling the screen. At day 10-12 (also varies by strain) I stop tucking and start helping shoots through trying to keep the screen filled as evenly as possible. After that you pretty much let it ride. But you do have the option of vegging in the scrog or vegging without it and then throwing it under to flower. I do the latter and it works pretty damn well.
