Weld porn..

I take it the fit doesnt have to be perfect for this to work? Can it bind to any typical hose material?in reference to earlier. I want to add one more but have to cut it to size at the bucket.

I have spare bulkheads but these hoses didnt fit them for some reason. Hard to fit a perfect hose with two female sides also.

I might as well putty the other hose it just wont be on the metal. Since it will lay low to the ground to make it harder to trip on.

I assumed it will work with not the tightest fit in the bucket port drilled out because why else would it leak right.

Same thing about the alignment/fittings is why I cant just connect it to one of the others.

So switching from 3gal to 1 gal had to up my ec to alot so had to pre dissolve maxibloom in bucket with a wisk and is just too much. Or else it settles a big pile and cant really pool shock/ph it. Takes hrs to let wave maker dissolve.

I got a blender lol. Any one use a blender for this purpose? Seems silly but it should do the trick. Get like a charlies horse on fore arm using the last way.

There's no reason to raise the EC based on the size of the pot.
The only difference should be fertigation frequency.
My plants were going down hill, was suggested to raise ec and it turned things around before scheduled flip knock on wood.

I used 3gal 1.1 ec 1x in veg and 4x in flower and was mostly good aside from ph meter misuse that bit me at the end a little.

Now its 1 gal 2x a day the .8 ec was too low, the 1.1 ec was still too low, all a week apart looking at overall growth. 1.4 not quite there yet.

1.7-1.8 ec and it turned around. .5ec tap. Switched to flower now 6x a day feed. So far so good. These mfg suggestions were inline with this.

Just my thoughts where im at now and will update plant problem thread if it dont work out. It didnt grow anything like the mother from seed with ec demand.

If there was dryback it would indicate its taking up nutes like it surely will in flower. Its perfectly wet still and some would say 2x a day veg let a lone more is overkill.

If roots poke out let alone almost grow a beard out the bottom, I think frequency is good. If its suddenly shiverling up and cant see it easily, opposite.

Two mother plants well over 4 months old in one gal green and dark green growth. Was ok with whatever I fed it even with the .8ec twice a day. So the excessive root density should be fine with 2x a day.

Pics of the mother from seed growing up and pics right before chop. Some light burn, ph was at 4 or lower at some point. I switched to drops so its easier and accurate always.

I dont get why my clones grew so light and feeding more often just didnt seem like the answer. Only thing not in line with mfg that confuses me is I was light feeding the 3 gal when it should of been medium feed.

Any thoughts let me know I dont quite get it yet. Growers vary in their practices and have to find my way. Luckily its the same strain over and over.

That putty is tough to work with. I should of wiped it down, and sand but have nothing for that. It wouldnt apply so I put a bunch and its not leaking anymore atm.

Just need to do more to the other two and its done. About to get my mini diy tent done today.

It was pretty bad puddle in there so yea had to do something asap. I think itl work if I apply a bunch. Then re do everything in a year or two as I get better.

A pvc cutter can cut a hose so easy like a carrot. Im starting to learn fast how to setup pvc I already know what to do for the next setup. Its fun, like legos.

Heres a aquifer style setup. Hose drains into next tent. It was just easier so why not. Just to add to the thread. Will update the mini diy tent tonight.

edit: The plant is connected to the same manifold in next tent, it still runs good despite traveling further. Feed lines run right through the hole the garden hose travels through.

The trick is to keep your fingers wet while you work it. To make it more smooth on the surface and easier to fill the voids, like wetting down clay as you form it. You can roll some up like a snake after mixing, and form it into little rings to stick on around the hose/hole. Kinda like welding up multiple beads, instead of trying to mash the whole blob on at once.. Add more and more rings as you go, and keep wetting it and smoothing out each time for the best bond, and a nice looking appearance.

You want it on both sides, so inside the bucket too. Try to force some through the gaps into each other, so its all connected like one piece once its cured if you can. Cleaning with denatured alcohol, or some other solvent that doesn't leave a bunch of residue is pretty important, as is scuffing up non porous\shiny plastic surfaces like HDPE buckets.

the first line of the black light feed info box says the same thing @Billy the Mountain said fyi. The light feed strength specifically says to use more then 5 feedings a day. So increasing the frequency not the strength.

that being said the medium schedule is only slightly stronger which might make sense to use.

I would be careful going too high though. Things can go south fast if you get nutrient lockout, and it can be a pain to diagnose.

Lol. I just want all 10 clones ready and realized my dresser could be a grow space too haha. I need 5 clones every 9 weeks and just want to be ahead. I am at way more ease this way.

If anything I can discard this when I get my cloning skills up and also need see how this first round goes. May be able to run less clones and more variety and have less clones ready so all clones will be in one tent.

But now this is up it could become a tool to make something else happen. Like I said I want to run everything as is for like a year or two.

How do you know where your basement drain leads? So I know if I can dump nutes in it or not.

Just thinking ahead, this cabinet is awesome but I need to either install taller legs or move to basement to drain in there.

If I moved into basement it would open much needed space and my main grow will function more solid.

Taller legs would make it tip easier though. So far its only leaking a tiny bit but its working. Let alone when I go ham on it today. I got sand paper.

The cabinet is stealthy and small, I can let that outside the grow room. I just cant have anything else like a 2x2 or anything because like I suspected keeping the plants in my room is better.

Roommates dont want to see it. I dont get why tents are so intimidating lol. Prohibition reminence. I can grow but idk why they just are almost forgetting I grow type thing this way.

Last time I had tents up they didnt like it. Quit growing for a sec then started again and thought this time keep it all concealed.

Hahaaa its working well the new diy tent draining. Great tip about treating the putty like clay it totally welded under water. It was applying great and even got it on the inside of the bucket.

About to do the insides of the other two hoses it should work for sure! It was already working.I sanded it and everything, great tips yall this was very effective.
